Take overcooked, add some Cannibal cuisine and a little bit of necromancy, put that in the fryer and lets go you have Bone's Cafe ! I really love this game, this is fun. I love that we can show our chef what to do. We are supposed to not kill customer in front of others, but im killing and slicing them in front of everyone they just scream there is no punishment for that... i even had a customer keeping eating like its totally normal... XD I recommand this game, wish to try it with friends.

Surprising amount of content to get through! It's been very enjoyable to play with my partner. Very different from plate up where you and your friends do all the work. This game feels like it's more about optimizing your staff, pathing, and kitchen set up. As others have mentioned, the recipes get harder to follow as you level up, but you can kind of get a hang of it with trial and error OR you can look up a guide (recommended after spending 40 minutes on unlocking new recipes, but it was sort of fun trying to figure it out). It's a love-hate relationship. Still haven't finished the main story line, but that currently seems inconsequential to the actual gameplay where I am focused on growing the cafe and ranking it up.

TL;DR: YES if you are looking for a cozy couch co op game- NO/MAYBE if you are a hardcore achievement hunter- ALSO keep in mind that having extra players for the challenges can make them harder! So you might not be able to play the entire game with friends. This game is kind of hard to review because it's almost two different games in one. On the one hand there's the casual cute main story where it's very chill and you can go completely at your own pace- with tons of decor to unlock, recipes, and more. You get to choose your menu so you can really theme the place however you want to which is fun. The only sometimes annoying thing is running low on types of meat before you reach 5 skulls but I think the poison mechanic is really unique and fun. Then there's the challenges... They are NUCLEAR difficulty. Much higher than overcooked, plate up, or any other similar genre game I've ever 100%. The APM is very high and some are barely possible with almost perfect play. The one boon is that they are so formulaic that once you get the rhythm down you can basically copy paste a similar setup for 30 ish of the 40. But that kind of seems redundant at that point to me. Why have 40 challenges when most of them are just recipie reskins? Either way, I ended up 3 skulling all the challenges and most of my gametime was spent working through them as they are so much harder than the base game. Overall, I think if you are picking this up just for the campaign/main story (which I'm guessing is like 90% of players) I would recommend it. The art is really cute and there are tons of recipes to mix and match. However, if you are a completionist I would be wary of this one unless you really like the genre and difficult APM games.

I hate Overcooked. I love this. - The spooky theme, especially the 'Salad Dressing' incident, really drew people in. - The music and aesthetic is cute af. By far the best thing about this game is being able to set your own difficulty by customising the menu and restaurant. Need a more complex menu but feeling too pressured to enjoy it? Reduce the seating. Prefer simple recipes but want a bit of a challenge? Add tables/seats. Get your friends set up each with a different work area/product goal if you've got people who like doing their own thing. Or work together on fewer menu items. Have some people that don't like the cooking and prefer to wait tables? That's fine too.
