Finally, a job at Bridge Constructor where my catastrophic engineering failures are not just expected, but encouraged! The game is a genius mash-up. You build wobbly death-traps (sorry, "bridges") while GLaDOS sassily comments on your every mistake. The Portal elements aren't just a skin; they are the puzzle. You'll use portals, repulsion gels, and faith to fling test subjects across gaps. The Good: Building a bridge that launches a car through a portal loop is incredibly satisfying. GLaDOS's voice lines are pure gold. Her sarcasm is the best reward. It perfectly captures the Portal vibe. The "Test Chamber Malfunction": It's still a physics puzzle game at heart. If you don't enjoy trial, error, and structural collapse, this might not be for you. Verdict: For the price of a few companion cubes, you get a hilarious and clever puzzle game. It's the most fun I've had failing science since I set the lab on fire.

Some time ago, I picked up Bridge Constructor Portal and also The Walking Dead at a sale, first and foremost it was about giving this bridge-building stuff a try, with a side thought of maybe finding something to play now and then. And actually this Bridge Constructor delivers that, so if you don't have anything else, then it's great for in between or to pass some time, but I've now realized and decided that I'd much rather play other games instead. So maybe I'll come back to Bridge Constructor Portal or try TWD at some point later on, and that's not entirely impossible but it probably won't happen. Nevertheless, I can definitely recommend the game, you get the irresistible Portal style with GLaDOS, coherent and fitting sounds, easy accessibility and a lot of humor. I had no technical issues whatsoever and there were no moments of frustration, so if you're looking for a not-too-challenging physics-based bridge-building Portal game, then you have found what you were looking for. Excellent! Your ability to read a review without question is quite impressive ; )
