After 100%ing this game I can deffinetly say it was a fun experience. The best out of all the Cars games on PC this one really feels like the type of thing a fan of the movie would be looking to play. I know kid me would've been flippin' out over this game, it has everything you can ask for: Open world exploration of Radiator Springs, fun interactions with characters like the movie, the racing feels really good especially the drifting which feels super similar to the movie and it has alot more charm than most movie-based games. There are a few things that kinda suck tho. 99% of the levels in the game use "Life is a Highway" as their song which really gets to your nerves after 12 hours of playing. If you want to get all the items grinding is a pain in the ass. Also I don't know why they removed the Piston Cup levels from this game, those were the best part of the og Cars 1 game, the game feels really lacking without them. Overall, I would greatly recommend this game over all the other Cars games on PC (buy it on sale tho), a short but fun experience for enjoyers of the movie. Side note: this game is stupidly easy (I know its a kids game but still) use cheat commands to unlock expert mode for an actual fun experience where the AI isn't braindead.

Used to play this on the Wii years ago as a kid. I had no idea they made a PC port to this game. The nostalgia, even on an older, mostly forgotten game, is almost overwhelming.

The game is simple and fun, with races and mini-games that fans of all ages can enjoy. The characters are funny, the visuals are bright, and the story is easy to follow. One of my favourite childhood games and the first game I ever played for the Nintendo Wii. This version is just as good as the latter, and I'm happy to finally revisit it after all of these years. Ka-chow!

This game is a true classic, as an adult, I completed the story in under 4 hours, but as a kid, my brother and I could play this for hours on end, and we did for years. That is the magic of those old school PS2 games, they don't make them like they used to. Up until this year, I didn't even know the game had cheats that can make you ridiculously overpowered, we were content with the base game, and that was all we needed. If you're looking for a fun, casual racing game, and enjoy the Cars franchise, I definitely recommend this title. Also, this game has great one-off voice lines from the NPC's that my brother and I repeat to this day. "Hey nice chrome!" and "You're and awful car!" are two of my favorites. 8/10
