I haven't played much yet so I can't say if the game is good or not but whatever you do DO NOT connect a PS4 controller for this game. It doesn't just not support that controller it becomes violently unplayable. Somehow just being connected while the game is running causes the camera to wildly spin and the MC to use every move at once all with micro inputs making it impossible to jump or go anywhere. To make matters worse if you try to fight any of this by actually pressing buttons on the controller the problem only becomes worse, and if you dare to touch the right stick you can expect the game to cycle through menus at +60fps which gave me a slight headache. So in short do not play while a PS4 controller is connected, thank you.

this game tickled the corners of my bad childhood aah brain and talked to my inner child that i felt so disconnected to, it feels like every little aspect of this game was designed specifically to make you feel as if youre being held like a baby . in theory this is just an n64 3d platformer but thats not the way i feel. i have no idea what this feeling is called but i describe it as probably babyfur. (edit from the future: it's actually called age regression and it's related to uuuuh stuff i've been through) i shouldnt be exposing myself like that on a steam review because people that i dont want to be vulnerable around will see this but i dont care, this made me cry... I WANT TO BE HELD LIKE THE SCENE AFTER THE FINAL BOSS IS DEFEATED! what happened to this song we once knew so well?

I NEVER 100% games, it's just not worth my time, but I completed this one because I literally couldn't stop playing. Such a fun game, I hope I'm able to make a 3D platformer with half the amount of charm this one has some day

If you enjoy N64 games, you'll love this game. It has elements that feel inspired by classics like Zelda and Banjo Kazooie. The game flow is similar to metroidvania style games. You play as the cutest little dragon trying to venture out in various stages to find your lost siblings and gain new abilities along the way. With each new ability, you gain access to places you previously couldn't reach. There are plenty of puzzles that are quite challenging at times making you look at tons of small details throughout your environment to gain clues as to how to solve it. I can't recommend this game enough. Be prepared to put more hours in it than expected. It looks simple on the surface, but I've only seen maybe half of whats there with 5 hours in. The puzzles can be frustrating occasionally, as well as the platforming, but it's always in a way that makes you eager to solve it. I do plan to 100% this which involves finding all siblings and all cards.. so it may take some time. The challenge will feel very rewarding in the end. There's a lot of charm for a low price point!

It's a very short game and apart from maybe 1 or 2 brain teasers is a fairly straight forward experience from start to finish. Absolutely perfect for the steam deck, honestly if you need a platformer for the deck this is one of your best bets hands down. The short game time and the ability to save and quit whenever makes short play sessions more then perfect. The graphics is very on point, models look fantastic and perfectly implements 2D sprites when appropriate. The look and design of the worlds never feel out of place and the collectibles are always placed in sensible locations and the secrets are well telegraphed so I never had an issue finding everything. The music is phenomenal and perfectly evokes the feeling of a dreamlike state and subsequently terror and nightmares. The game feel and gameplay plays exactly as you expect them to feel that is to say a little more responsive then your average N64 title but still old school in a pleasant way. Honestly my biggest issue with the game is that the power ups feel a little inconsequential and one of them I never really used outside the 4 or so puzzles that actually required it. I wish the powerups where either unlocked from the start or had more of an impact. Overall it's a very comfy game that does exactly what it sets out to do and I can not recommend it enough if you're into 3D platformers and collectathons.
