Chroma Squad is a blatant love letter to Saban's Power Rangers and other super sentai stories. It's the story of a group of stuntmen opening their own studio to make their own super sentai show. It's silly, it's fun, it has some funny and weird sci-fi elements that adds to the campy charm of Power Rangers and it meshes super well. You combine that with the actually super tight flashy tactics system where your optional objectives are related to flexing on the enemies to the sake of increasing the audience of your show with cool stunts, you have the mechanical and narrative incetives to try and think of cool stuff to do at every given opportunity. Lots of equipment and customization options so you can branch out what are your priorities in the earlier game and the game actually features multiple endings. The difficulty is not too bad and if you're a fan of the genre, you can probably figure out ways to beat even in hard mode without much suffering. Having grown up with Power Rangers and loving tactics games, as well as being part of the still infant brazillian game industry, I gladly supported this game and I recommend you do the same. It's not as new as when I bought it, but we need more countries developing games to provide cool ideas and cultural references. This game is good and it made a lot of people happy. Can't go wrong with this.

A fantastically fun and quirky game thats choc full of references and gags for people to enjoy. The higher difficulty settings also provide a fun level of challenge as well if you want to actually have to think about what youre doing. Honestly though, if you like(d) the power rangers and enjoy turn based gameplay this is honestly a bit of a no brainer

Probably the best Power Ranger game out there that isn't a fighting game. It might also be the only one so take that as you will.

This game is very good! And i enjoyed my time with it. Very funny, and the premise is great. However; replay value is meh. I think it does have alternate paths with different storylines, but I never really bothered to play more than once due to the combats sluggish pacing and lack of variety in objectives and enemies in later segments. Mech battles were also boring as hell. but still; I enjoyed my time with it. and is 100% worth at least 1 playthrough. Give it a go!
