I really enjoyed playing Cinema Simulator 2025. The gameplay was engaging and fun, but the biggest drawback was the lack of continued updates. After purchasing all the theaters and fully upgrading them, there isn’t much left to do. It only took me about a week to max out all the levels. I would love to see future updates that add more theaters, along with new features like a restaurant or a game room. It would also be great if the game introduced an event system, such as hosting birthday parties for children or private events for adults.

A basic mechanical bite-sized experience lasting just under seven hours. Right when I launched the game, I got flashbacks to Blade Runner 2049 — the holographic love scene between Joi and Mariette, where their unforgettable faces and bodies overlapped. In this game, the overlap was more like local, limping peasants sitting on chairs because they had nowhere else to rest before the movie started, munching warm popcorn through two merged faces. It felt like a cheap Lidl-style interlude that sent a tingle straight to my cerebral cortex. And yet, the charm, the potential, the rough edges, the bugs, selecting movies and the somewhat dragging process of upgrading my business actually captivated me. Even if the developers stopped updating the game, I still enjoyed the monotony — the graphical glitches of a promising simulation experience, where I, as a manager, just named my cinema Rotten Greya. A place where all film lovers and enthusiasts happily rot in their musty seats, light up cigarettes, record movies on their cheap cameras, or make phone calls. My opinion wouldn’t change even if the game’s development stopped, but I surely wouldn’t pay real-life technicians who only turn on the movies but never fix broken machines, and whose staff don’t even restock supplies from storage. They all stood there as if whipped — which, ironically, reminded me of reality, and I agreed with it. Not everyone is hardworking, after all. The game isn’t perfectly thought-out, but it gave me a pleasantly tuned evening. 🍿 solid 7/10🥤

It's a funny game to play with. A bit short but the devs make updates very often with more content (can't wait to see the next one). A big potential but the game needs lot of work. Take the game as a burlesque simulator ( I work in a real movie theater and I find it funny). More movies specs and financial aspects would be good. Trying to reach lvl 150 right now. For now, it's a thumb up for now. Keep going devs !

The dev's added the ability to add your own movies to the Cinema and they play! You can also add a poster to. I didn't expect them to add this so fast after the community suggested it. Very cool to be able to back up my dvd's/blurays and play them (or movies I have downloaded). The game is a bit janky in some elements, but I love that they have listened to the community and that they did this awesome new feature so fast after the community brought it up. Very cool being able to play horror movies, David Lynch movies and my foreign movies from my movie collection of DVD's and Blurays inside the game, thank you devs!

The game is fun, but you finish it quickly and get bored very easily. There are many problems that make you lose interest in continuing to play: • Theaters: There are very few seats per theater for the audience, and they fill up very quickly, causing them to leave annoyed and leaving bad reviews. It should be like a real movie theater that has many seats per theater. Also, the manager should have an option to see the seating status of the theaters, rather than viewing it from the box office (important). It would be fun if in the future you could add formats to theaters: 3D, 4D, XD, DBOX, Laser, XTREME, etc. • Showtimes: The format for creating showtimes is very ugly. It should show the image of the movie, the manually created showings, whether it is in the original language or with subtitles, and the duration, not just dragging the name into a series of squares. • Movies: They mentioned that they used artificial intelligence to create the movies to avoid issues with real-life movie studios, but that the posters look somewhat like the real ones, not too unrealistic. And keep updating with more movies. It would be cool if there was the option, in the future, to add special events to broadcast at the theater, such as concerts, operas, foreign films, etc. • Manager Activities: Once you manage to buy employees for cleaning, security, cashiers, etc., there are no more activities to do, just set up the movie schedule and buy more movies. There should be activities that challenge the manager's position. • Daily Activities: When the schedules are full, you just have to wait until the next day, which is very boring. Also, the money you generate should be saved and not deleted every day. It would be fun to do activities like receiving food, movies, etc. • Customization and Expansion: With the money you generate, you should allow the option to buy furniture by furniture instead of the entire set, allowing you to customize the complex to the player's liking. Also, give the option to customize the manager, employees, spaces (their office, warehouse, rooms, etc.), and more. • Errors, bugs, and visual effects: There are small details that are very ugly in the game: characters passing through you for no reason or two people sitting in the same place, for example. You can do all kinds of pointless activities, like jumping all over the place, which makes the game pointless. At times, it freezes and won't you move, but that's easily fixed. Improve the textures and also the character movement.
