Bought it for the TF2VR mod, and i got the TF2VR mod, Tbh its great, full hand tracking (for valve index as far as i know) Good gun mechanics, the joystick movement is a bit weird, but i'll take it. Its really solid and i will play this way more often.

The best feature of this game is the mods. Being able to play Halo or SWBF Clone Wars is truly thrilling. I recommend it hands down.

like pavlov, but a more streamlined FPS experience like COD. also has lots of modded content, you can play entire other games, in this, in VR. at least in vanilla, your loadout in most modes is based off a points system, like insurgency sandstorm. a non janky sprint (seriously, how do so many vr games have such inconsistent sprinting??) and a pretty nice slide make for simple but useful movement. guns handle well and feel responsive to use (and are easy to interface with, it's rare to handle your gun in a way you didn't intend) the game may look dead on steamDB, but there is still a pretty large playerbase, because the game is cross-plat with meta and there's a lot more players on that side. this game has a lot of staple FPS gamemodes like CTF, TDM, SND, and that gamemode with 3 capture points that i forgot the name of contractors: showdown: exfil zone (what a mouthful) has a battle royale i would most compare to warzone or pubg and an extraction shooter mode like ghosts of tabor. unless you specifically like those kinds of games, i would generally recommend this game over that one for the wider scope of gamemodes and being more casual in general.

Best shooter with mods right here, I have over a hundred hours on the quest version. Star Wars Battlefront; here and rad. Team Fortress? There's a mod for that too. Halo? We got a few mods for that one. There's a pretty neat Warhammer 40k mod as well. But enough about mods, there will be plenty of surprises there. I know a lot of recent reviews say it doesn't run so good since the latest update, but having bought the Steam version after the latest update, I can say that although I have occasional crashes, it isn't frequent enough to warrant a negative review, I use virtual to desktop and it honestly only seems to happen if i switch out of steamvr back to desktop when launching. But out of all the shooters on our growing VR platform, I would easily say this is the one that deserves your time, I've put in dozens of hours before getting the steam version, this is probably my 3rd or 4th time buying it overall lol. Don't really remember what they're charging since I'm writing this from my library but if you value a very customizable online VR shooter experience, this is certainly your best option. This game ALWAYS has a couple of full servers too, so it's not dead like many pvp experiences in this market. See you on the battlefront soldier!

Really only worth it for the mods. Zombies and 8v8 pvp on cods best maps is crack, but if you ignore the community content then this is one of the last vr shooters i'd recommend.
