EDIT: Still wonderful, but I've been stuck in the skyscraper since September and I can't get out... Wonderful game - nearly 150 hours for £16 is good value. Bug-ridden at the moment and graphics need an overhaul but adds to the charm and will be very interested to see how the devs update the game over the remainder of early access. Only criticism has been mentioned by other reviewers. This is a bit of a dull grind for solo players. As one who plays most games solo, tasks which are meant to be finished in a specific time are impossible on your own. Would be good if the devs could introduce "hire an AI buddy (or 2)" to speed up builds or contracts - or at least be more flexible with bonus times for single player games. Will continue to play and build more houses - albeit very slowly.

The game's core idea is excellent and shows great promise. However, certain elements like vehicle handling, trigger points, multiplayer features, and the house building system feel incomplete and could use more refinement. There's a noticeable lack of depth in some areas. A lot of people are saying it's not very fun solo or it's difficult. I've been playing solo since the beginning and found no issues with it. Bugs are minimal, I've rarely encountered them and a simple restart of the game has fixed it. If you're wanting to get it and have no one to play with, or like me and just don't want to play with anyone - it's fine. The game can very easily be done solo and isn't lacking anything by not having friends involved.

I love this game so much i've talked my lady into buying the game, following upon her getting the game shes upset because of there not being an option for a female character to be played. would be cool to see in a future update. Thanks! :)

So, in 5 days I have played 90 hours :/ This game is amazing, super additive and makes your brain spin lol. I'll start with the bad bits: 1. The only bug I have encountered is when you buy "Parcel" 0 (you can only quick sell this plot) If you try to auction it you will get bids but they will not be counted for some reason and it will say "you got no bids" then you not only don't sell the plot but you also lose the commission, as far as I know they are already working on a fix. My advise here is to only build the house, Do NOT add furniture and quick sell it so that you still make a profit. 2. I have had two crashes in the 90 hours of play (not bad for a month old early access game). Now for the good: 1. Well where do I start, you start the game turning up in this town and get a call from your cousin "Bobby" who offers to let you stay at his caravan....... He also says he will send some people your way that need work doing. So you jump on a bus and make your way there...... 2. You get emails for jobs for the main game quests but you can also take contracts to get the money rolling in. 3. The driving in this game is great fun, drifting round corners, crashing and running people over are only some of the things you can do. 4. Once you have earned enough money and done the right quests you can get your own HQ {Or office as it is called in the game) after Bobby removes the caravan, and soon after that you can start buying your own land and get to the real part of the game, designing and building houses, this is the bit I love. 5. Let your imagination run wild with the decorating. 6. Work towards getting all the parts of your HQ up and running. Anyway, that's enough of the spoilers. I fully recommend getting this game, I am having a blast and plan on putting many more hours in to the game and can't wait to see what else the Dev team have in store for us as they progress the game.
