I don't review games but I am so grateful that I get to show my daughter the joy I felt in childhood on The Incredible Machine. This is an EXCELLENT game to play together with kids, a rare combo of wholesome educational problem solving that is authentically fun.

great physics-based puzzler about making rube goldberg machines (ball hits scissors, cuts rope, basket falls on mouse, etc.). it's essentially the same as the incredible machine from 1992 (only available on gog for some reason), made by the same developer. hundreds of levels, dozens of mechanics, everything unlocked from the start. looks and controls are a bit mobiley and finicky, especially selecting placed items, but controls are rebindable. servicable sfx, really annoying music (kevin macleod has some good stuff, this ain't it), decent settings and functionality (separate volumes, resizable window, zoom, etc.). also has demo, multiplayer, level editor and workshop support and it's still actively being worked on after all these years, be it quality of life or new content (free or paid, including a ton of original tim levels).
