Blending portal mechanics with structural engineering makes for some genuinely clever puzzle-solving. Guiding your vehicles through Aperture Science test chambers using trusty physics feels satisfying when everything finally clicks. It can get pretty punishing in the later levels, but fans of both franchises will find plenty to enjoy here.
Bridge constructor portal is a great game, even though it is basically nothing like the classic portal games you still have to think with portals well bridges. Many things makes this game worth it's price like the fun puzzles and even the fact that Ellen Mclain reprises to be GLaDOS once again if you're reading this get portal bridge constructor on sale.

Precision freak The core play is building bridges and then sending transport to stress test them. I liked this idea and generally "yay-ed" it. But... bloody hell, the game takes physics too serious . A single fraction of a bar, and I do mean it - a single slightest change in your angle defines if you fail or win . A single raise will either slow your cart, making it miss an exit - results in falling down, or will cause over-weight - results in breaking entire platform. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3742689370 The only remedy is to overuse cables or support arches. Which just clutters entire map and, c'mon, nobody would build such thing in a real situation. So why do so in a game? There's no balance. You either make a beautiful bridge and fail a level. Or you create a monstrosity, the only winning move. Unfortunately, neither matches fun gaming.
This game is not what you would expect from a bridge builder. That isn't inherently a bad thing, but it is something to be mentioned. It doesn't really test your bridge building and engineering, but rather puzzle solving. If you care about achievements, note that half of the achievements need the dlc to unlock. Apart from this, the game itself is fun if you don't have time for long sessions and with the dlc it took me around 40 hours to complete.
