Just having a dog is already reason for a positive review. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3450821547 With hundreds of games and hours in VR, this game really caught my attention, it has bugs but it doesn't ruin the gameplay. I was already impressed with Paradox of Hope which unfortunately had to be removed, I was very upset because I wanted this game to continue. Then the same developer created this CONVRGENCE, (I could have had it for free because I had Paradox of Hope) but I bought it to support it and because it deserves my money. I already have 25 hours of gameplay and I'm not going to stop there, the game is addictive and very well made, the loot and sales system for progression is perfect, encouraging me to continue. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3462145916 The beginning can be difficult for many people, but once you understand the game system and how to play, it will be worth it. Because if you die, you lose everything, unless you take out insurance, which isn't cheap. That's why you need to play with caution and without rushing. I would love to see a COOP in this type of game, it would be unique. The game is very good, but being able to play with a friend would be even better. This developer manages to make an extraordinary game, far superior to many named titles out there, just buy it and enjoy. Please add cloud save as soon as possible and also VDXR for those who use Virtual Desktop, Steam VR uses many hardware requirements that cause performance losses, thank you.

The game has potential but is far from a good experience, especially if you played Into the Radius. This feels like Into The Radius from Temu, but with a nicer atmosphere and more hard core. for a solo developer this is amazing but when i play it i wonder why am i not playing ITR2. I will come back to this game when is more polished and overeall has a better feeling of using weapons and reloading, or in general a better user experience.

Great atmosphere and sense of presence. Awesome dog companion you can command to attack, stay, or follow. Creative VR game elements like having a personal bunk room and storage chest, as well as the driving mini-experience to bring you back and forth from the levek. Over all poor AI and shallow gameplay. No free-roaming in the world. The game really brings me into it's world, but there's just not much for me to do there.

Game is great and really encapsulates the soviet post-apocalyptic vibe that can be found from many flatscreen titles such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R and the Metro series. Played through about 16 hours to reach the max trader reputation however I am still about 3-5 hours out from finishing absolutely everything there is to do, which makes the 20$ price point very reasonable. The controls are very intuitive, configurable, and overall immersive with all of the interfaces being something you physically interact with. I played through the entirety of this game with a Rift CV1 and not once did I run into any glaring issues regarding the controls. That being said, there is a little bit of jank with the chest rig and backpack but its something that is easily overlooked once you get the hang of the game. Graphically the game looks great and has an obvious art direction that its settled in and nothing in the environment/items/character models looks out of place. Optimization-wise my PC was chugging quite a bit near the village sections found on the new Forest map, and would sometimes chug on the garage map however the bunker map (Arguably best map in the game) runs smooth like butter on high settings with either enemy types selected. The A.I in its current state is fairly barebones and if you are to play this game do not come in with the expectation that they are on the level of modern flatscreen games, they mostly serve the purpose of draining your resources within raid (Ammo/HP) and not much else at this point in time. That being said, the guns feel pretty good and you definitely feel a sense of progression going from guns like the PPSH (a mostly inaccurate bullet hose) up to a gun like the AK with full attachments that is very accurate even when being panic sprayed. Overall the game is amazing at what it does and kept me intrigued the entire way through, and with the developer releasing content updates and bug fixes at pretty quick pace I'd say this is a must buy for anyone looking for a game thats in the same vein as Metro, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Ghost of Tabor, and Into the Radius.

In concept, the game is fantastic, all the ideas are great, and the execution of most is good, my biggest issue is the lack of variety, making the grind very repetitive, though, guns feel great, looting is nice, enemies are pretty good. The first map definitely needs work in interactability, though the second one gets that a lot better, generally, a great game with TONS of potential. I’m looking forward to the future.
