It's a simply automation game with a lot of potential. Very fun! Somehow liked it more than Autonauts, although I've been playing that one for a long time. Still has some rough edges, but it sounds like they'll be fixed over time. I'll list some points for improvement, but don't take them all as the negative part of this review! Some should remain a part of gameplay and perhaps be resolved by upgrades. - UI a bit wonky in a few places. If I click on a variable to set its location, for example, it shouldn't matter that the variable is almost out-of-screen, at least the "set location" number should scroll into view. I have mixed feelings about auto-connection of nodes. The overall node programming experience is way above average and almost pleasant, though! - I'm pretty sure a robot I assigned a custom icon to changed their icon without me explicitly choosing a new one. Auto-assignment is good for brand new robots, but a big no afterwards, especially once I've set an icon manually. Also, "yay" for icons! - Home/End should work in text boxes. Probably ctrl+arrows and shift+motion, too. Didn't try shift+insert/del. - CC pickup point at 0,0 (0,1?) is a busy location. I constantly have to wait until my bots are out of the way. Was I not supposed to do the quests by hand? The quantities are too low for me to bother programming. - Not sure I like storages/bonfires/etc. blocking my robots. Not sure what I would change to fix this. - The error beep. The single most annoying thing in the game! Make it smarter, give us a way around it, or remove it completely, please! - There needs to be a distinction between handled and unhandled errors. Waiting in a Wait loop because of an empty or full storage is a warning at best, not worth playing a sound and possibly not even worth the exclamation mark in the bot summary. Especially since bots that have permanently paused because of being frozen for a short while are silent and look identical to the deliberately paused unused bots in the corner. (Or am I supposed to write functions to work around these problems?) - Find and Pick is too stubborn. If the item it happened to choose is now frozen over, it should simply choose a different one. Not play an error sound in a loop. (Bug?) - Find and Drop is unusable. It spills over to unused storages or even worse, temporarily empty storages being used for another item. Maybe we're supposed to write functions to overcome the idiosyncrasies, but wouldn't we use Drop To in that case? I really can't think of a use case for this "improvement". I had to change back all my bots to use Drop To shortly after "upgrading" them to use Find and Drop. - Find and Pick should probably not have "bonfires" on by default. Also, never tried it but does the option cover the other heaters? - I'm still trying to find a use case for variable variables, but that just might be me. (Parameter Input to functions is an amazing mechanism, though!) - Finding the nearest or looping through the N nearest things, possibly with conditions, might be a good addition. - I was thinking about priority interrupts (e.g. low battery) when I realized I could write a "wait-but-not-if-you're-too-low-on-battery" function! Would need a "Find nearest empty ground" action, though. (Which I could write myself as well! This is what sets this game apart, well done!)

Pretty fun, I just wish some of the nodes had more explanation or examples to help guide players. Figured it out in the end but would of helped. Either way, super fun and makes you think. I really enjoy optimizing my little guys and fixing any errors (its super tedious but feels super rewarding!) Excited to see what else they add to the game!

I love the game already. I need a bit more guidance though with coding. Variable handling not always working as expected for me. But maybe it is just because I don't understand some nodes well enough. There are a lot of coding features I don't even use, since my coding knowledge is limited. Maybe some examples would help for general variable handling, object variable handling, and coordinate variable handling. I would like to see some features: - mass handling robots. For e.g it would be nice to pause a whole group at the same time if I want to spare some batteries until it's storage is filled by another group. It seems, I just can't manage the energy needs well enough of 40+ robots, I am always short on batteries. - embedding groups into each other: +1-2 depth would be nice. - cycling through the robots in the current order on the list and not based on assembly order. - ctrl + z would be nice when programming robots... I accidentally deleted an entire production line. (ctr + c,v works well) - picking, groupping and coloring self-written functions, like it works with the robots.

Awesome little automation game that makes you think but also allows you to turn your brain off and just have fun. Progression feels a little slow but then again so am I.
