One of the best boomer shooters I've played recently. CRUEL feels like if Hotline Miami was Blood 1997 with shades of Cultic and Dusk in there as well. The movement is buttery, the guns all do the correct amount of damage, the soundtrack bangs and the basic enemies are literally rebranded cultists from Blood because this is a good game. Pick this up. It's worth the $10 and then some.
