Daemon X Machina Titanic Scion is a game for a specific kind of people. If, like me, you want an Anthem 2, or a Xenoblade Chronicles X 2, then this game is tailor made for you. Do not go in expecting Armored Core because this is NOT it. It's something different entirely. EDIT/PSA: turning off online helped loading times immensely for me.

It feels pretty much exactly what I'd expect "man-sized armoured core" to feel like. I'm game, I was just grinding labyrinth in DxM1 the other day and this feels close but different in good ways. It's also incredibly funny seeing like 20-30 dead player signs around one little red dot on the map in the middle of nowhere. More games need dark souls blood pools, they're such a delight.

30% Anthem, 30% Armored Core, 30% cool Anime s**t, 10% Anime nonsense. Game is fun, and fun in a way that a lot of games these days are lacking. Game is also a massive improvement on the first game. I never finished the first one, so you can walk into this game just fine without having player the first. Customization is cool, combat is fun, your custom character actually talks and is in cut scenes. Graphics are meh, but weirdly didn't bother me, but might bother some for the price. Had a couple freezes, but they actually cleared up without reboot. Loading times are stupid long if you leave online mode on fyi. If you like games like Anthem, or AC6, at the bare minimum it'll scratch that itch. But so far feels like one of the better games I've played in a while and was worth the money to me.

I think its great, but it needs some refining. You shouldnt buy it for the story though so if you're a story gamer it might be a pass for you. Also, if you have performance issues, give the game a few minutes because i guarantee you its compiling shaders. My FPS when i booted it up was 30.. but after 2 minutes it went to 240 So its good.

If Anthem and Armored Core 6 had a child, this is that game. I recommend trying the demo first, if you're on the fence about the Iron Man suits instead of the original game's Mechas, since your progress carries over.
