It's a great VN for Date A Live fans. If you're considering this VN, I strongly recommend to watch the anime or read the light novel first. Anyway, here are my thoughts on each title: Rinne Utopia : Each character route is mostly great and I didn't expect it to be bold enough to address Yoshino's dependency on Yoshinon , considering the story takes place after anime season 1/LN volume 4. The overall story is somewhat good, but it may feel a bit bland. Arusu Install : The amount of fan-service is a bit too much, so I expect split opinions even among fans of each characters. I find most character routes aren't as good as routes in Rinne Utopia, including Origami route. But I prefer its true route/ending over ones in Rinne Utopia. Rio Reincarnation : Too short to rate properly, but it's a fine bonus for Rinne or Arusu fans. Many common VN features exist, but it's annoying that the keybind settings don't tell you what each button does (I had to find them in forum discussions) and the drama CDs aren't accompanied by English transcriptions. - This review is sponsored by Origami fan
I love everything about this game - it is a memorable journey about love, how we face life's challenges, and learning to cherish our own precious happiness. Remind yourself what true happiness means and embrace moving forward for the sake of the future. This is a game I highly recommend for any fan of DATE A LIVE.
The order is Rinne Utopia, then Arisu Install, then Rio Reincarnation oddly. Basically Rinne Utopia and Arisu Install felt a bit too long and the true endings were very difficult to get (you should use a guide). Whereas Rio Reincarnation felt short and like the new character was very underdeveloped, but endings are really easy to get. It would be nice to have the best of both worlds where it's a long game where true endings are easy to get but oh well. They did a great job with the characters including the new ones. If you like the anime you'll love this game, it starts around the end of season 2 I think. Arisu Install was my favorite but people really like Rinne too. Lots of good stuff, some weird things thrown in but pretty rare. The DLC of Ren Dystopia is fully translated, but this DLC is much larger. You get some artwork and lots of audio "scenes" spoken in Japanese (no visuals) but only 3 of the 17 scenes have translations in English, which is seperate from the audio...
