Introduction : Développé par NEKO WORKs et édité par Sekai Project, NEKOPARA Vol. 3 est un roman visuel (visual novel) sorti en mai 2017. Ce troisième volet se recentre sur Maple et Cinnamon, deux des catgirls de la pâtisserie La Soleil, entre quotidien tranchant, complicité et petites rivalités. Ce que j'ai aimé : [*]🎨 une direction artistique qui reste au sommet de la série : chara-designs adorables, décors soignés et le fameux moteur E-mote qui anime les personnages, ils bougent, respirent, réagissent, c'est vivant [*]🐱 un vrai coup de projecteur sur Maple et Cinnamon, laissées un peu en retrait avant, et qui gagnent enfin en profondeur et en attachement [*]🎙️ un doublage japonais intégral et de qualité qui permet même de laisser tourner le jeu en auto comme un anime, l'immersion est totale [*]🍰 une ambiance douce, chaleureuse et bon enfant, parfaite pour décompresser après une grosse journée Ce que j'ai moins aimé : [*]📖 c'est un roman visuel au sens strict : aucun choix, aucune branche, on lit et on avance, donc zéro rejouabilité une fois terminé [*]⏳ l'aventure se boucle en 6 à 8h et reste très légère côté enjeux, il ne faut pas venir chercher un scénario complexe Conclusion : NEKOPARA Vol. 3, c'est exactement ce qu'on attend de la série : mignon, soigné, bien doublé et reposant. Si tu accroches à l'univers des catgirls de La Soleil, ce volet centré sur Maple et Cinnamon est un vrai plaisir. Faut juste accepter que ce soit une lecture passive plus qu'un jeu, mais pour le prix et l'ambiance, c'est du tout bon. Recommandé aux amateurs de VN slice-of-life. Note : ★★★★☆
Vol.4 < Vol.1 < EXTRA < Vol.0 < Vol.2 < Vol.3 I'm not 100% certain of what I have to say about it as I just finished Vol 4 just now and decided to update my reviews to score them together. The production quality was at it's peak, the personalities were done at their best, the pacing was good, the achievements of chapters is the only one that actually counts chapters correctly (except 2 near the end) The 18+ dlc was the best, the "jiggle physics" were the best. Although half of the story wasn't very interesting, the overall quality was undeniably present and pleasant to go through. There was some grammar error that were fixed in Vol 4 in JP. Other than that, i'm sorry I can't recall anything more as I'm reviewing this but this was definitely the best of all of them. I was really disapointed with the sudden production shift of vol.4.
this was my favorite volume out of the rest ive played, and i can definitely say it is engaging. every volume i play, this games aspects just seem to get better: poses, blinking, facial expressions, etc. the story is well done and we even get to take a peek at the early life of my mon-cinna (SHES SO CYUTTEE)
I haven't even played through all of chapter 5 yet, but this is definitely the best NEKOPARA game I have played so far. Despite what type of game this is, the storyline of this volume has really touched me (pun unintended lol) with the way it was executed. It was inspiring. Maple following her dreams, despite the challenges of everything, reminds me of some aspects of my own life. Thank you, Sayori, for making these amazing catgirl visual novels, with both good fanservice, and good plot. You don't see it often.
