Quite possibly my favorite Adam game. A lot of reviews talk about bad design, but I would beg to differ. Sure, there are some terrible design choices, like the elevator instantly killing you without any way to stop it (Only if you have the fast elevator active, which you don't need to activate ever for the first two modes (my proof there is I beat both Casual and Normal without it, nightmare is the same thing, but you need to have a REALLY keen eye to make up for the anomlies tomay miss) The elevator death is perfectly fine imo, mainly because if you are delivering to floors 10 - 7 or so, its not that big of a time loss, even factoring in Delfalco sending you back up to floor 9 if he shows up, in fact, floor 9 is YOUR floor, if you deliever there what possible reason do you have to turn on the speedy elevator. I only turn on the speed elevator when I have to deliever to something like Floors 3 - 5, and 6 is dependent on my time for the package itself, that means I have 2 entire rolls of a 1% chance to die, the next time I go to the roof I turn the shit off until I need to turn it on again. And I know this is viable in Nightmare, as this makes the RNG more dependent on package spawns, then anomlies spawns. Every enemy here is very intricatly designed, and is very well thought out, albeit, there are times where this isn't true, such as Lucas killing you, because you dared to go to the roof while he was checking your apartment, how was I supposed to know you were checking my apartment, I was dealing with a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MURDERER that makes it IMPOSSIBLE to know whether or not you are scoping my apartment. There are flaws yes, but I would actually encourage playing this game, especially if you are looking for a very tough challenge. As for the potential backdooring, this is not going to happen to you, for several reasons. 1. Dead Signal has already been datamined, if there WAS a backdoor, it'd be found already. 2. The only time Adam has ever backdoor'd people is for Welcome To The Game 2, the most famous case, being Markiplier, where it was proven, analyzing his game, that Markiplier was actually not backdoor'd he just got terrible RNG by Lucas. There was a "troll update" to add a backdoor, which was completely removed, there has never been another backdoor found in ANY of his games ever sense that one particular incident. 3. If Adam does backdoor people, his only incentive and/or reason to choose a victim, would be streamers, there is no reason he would personally fuck with your own game, and this is ignoring reason #1. A backdoor doesn't even exist in this game to began with.

Dead Signal is nerve-wrecking. The constant threat of killers who will get you if you’re not paying attention kept me on edge like no other horror game. Most horror games make a big deal out of their monster showing up— not Dead Signal. Here, you have to notice the laser sight in your window without the game spelling it out for you. You have to realize there’s a man in your bathroom, even though you locked the door. Speaking of which… get used to the code randomly changing and unlocking the door. If you miss that, well, good luck. What I Liked: ✔ The Gameplay Loop – I love how it mixes checking cameras, delivering packages, and hiding from killers. It keeps things from getting stale and makes every run feel intense. ✔ The Killers – They’re all unique, and honestly, I even liked dying to some of them. Unfortunately, I got spoiled on a few mechanics beforehand, but the deaths still caught me off guard. Most of the time, I feel like I only die because I messed up—except when it comes to Lucas. More on that later. ✔ The Atmosphere – This game is constantly making me paranoid. If I spend more than 20 seconds watching the cameras, I feel like I have to check the apartment. The male Noir, especially, makes sure I never get too comfortable. ✔ More Accessible Than WTTG2 – It has a lot in common with Welcome to the Game 2 (the whole "killers trying to stop you while you use a computer" thing), but unlike WTTG2, Dead Signal doesn’t make you deal with disturbing websites. It keeps the horror focused on the gameplay , which I appreciate. What I Didn’t Like: ✖ Lucas Can Just Kill You With No Warning – If he spawns while you're in or entering the hallway, he can kill you instantly when you take the elevator to the roof. I lost a run in the last hour of the night to this and couldn’t figure out what I did wrong, even after rewatching my recording. Apparently, I’m not the only one this has happened to. If it’s a bug, I hope it gets patched. If not, at least give us some way to tell he’s there. ✖ Camera Jumpscares – It’s not the actual scare that gets me, it’s the loud, obnoxious sound effect. Thankfully, they don’t happen often, but still. ✖ The 1% Elevator Death Chance – I hate this. The elevator is way faster with the breaker flipped, so I can’t go back to using it the slow way. But losing a run to pure RNG? That just feels bad.

Dead Signal is like welcome to the game II but improved and with less annoying things, i really liked how they explain everything well this time so i can even suggest this game to my friends without doing a tutorial to them. but this doesn't mean its easy you have to still pay a lot of attention and have a eagle eye to see everything and doing reports in time. BUT there is a big BUT this game run like shit i have to play at medium otherwise i will get 45-50fps at high or epic it makes no sense

Not as intense a game of 'spot the difference' as other games in the genre, instead has some welcome variety to the gameplay. Feels like a more polished and very /slightly/ streamlined version of WTTG 2, although this may just be because so far it seems to have a lot fewer bugs (and WTTG 2 doesn't have nearly so many bugs as people think - but just like in that game, the basics of the ruels are easy to grasp, it's remembering all of them all the time and learning their ins and outs that makes the game challenging). It took me several attemtps to get past the easiest difficulty and I'm now some 8 attempts into normal. Highly recommend.

Definitely reminds me of the game I'm On Observation Duty but with the constant on-edge feeling from welcome to the game. The unending paranoia of potentially getting murdered in your apartment. Personally computer hacks would've been a better recurring obstacle than distorting the camera feeds. All in all though, worth every penny. I liked defalco and always a pleasure meeting the noir :) that is unless they bash your skull in with a hammer. lucas can just fuck off. Did a great job on this one adam. looking forward to the next
