This doesn't have a lot of polish and the ai is brain dead but the gameplay scratches a few itches for me; having the pilot be an independent vulnerable asset is fun. Right now it feels very arcade-y with infinite ammunition and drones, with some polish a hard mode with limited resources, more fog of war and much more analog distortion, this could be a real gem of a game.

Slava Ukraini! Heroiam slava! To be clear, this game is less about the gameplay and more a way to support Ukraine's fight for independence from Russia. The game is very much an amalgamation of everything culturally related to Ukraine's struggle against Putin, and deserves to be experienced, even if you're interest doesn't extend to an exacting simulator of the drone warfare happening in Ukraine right now. The game is designed as one large sprawling level, like a giant playground, where you are one drone-operator and their DJI-esque quadcopter drone. Your campaign consists of 'missions' that move across the map sequentially, dropping an infinitely replenishing supply of grenades on Russian soldiers and vehicles from your drone, until you can move in your operator and reclaim Ukrainian control of Ukrainian land and property. Apart from the operator, and Russian soldiers and vehicles, there are no other NPCs to interact with- alas, there is plenty of environmental depictions of civilian life disrupted and violated by the Russian invasion and war of aggression. On a happier note, there are plenty of collectibles and easter-eggs depicting the world's and popular culture's response to Russia's incursion and Ukraine's heroic defense. You'll see washing machines to be retrieved, NAFO icons to find, Putin posters to 'improve', not to mention graffiti and artifacts on the map that reference the various aspects of the war still ongoing. Remember, your operator is no Call of Duty super-soldier- they have no weapons, and will be hunted, chased down, and attacked if they're too close to Russian soldiers. Only the drone can attack, but fly too close or too low, and it too can be attacked, even shot down. The normal mode allows that drone to respawn, but some NewGame+ modes have extra difficulty with drone or operator dying to one hit, or the drone needing to be retrieved if downed, forcing a stealth mission for you operator if you want to continue. Something really cool about the game's production is the dedicated theme song created by the Ukrainian rock band Antytila, called 'Death From Above' or Falcon; it's a real head banger! Play as a drone pilot trapped behind Russian lines, and fight your way out. A short but fun game sold for very cheap on sale. Easter Eggs scattered around the play area are good for some laughs. It took me about 3 hours to finish, and it is replayable including New Game +. Hoping for a DLC with more missions!

I can recommend this fun little drone arcade game where you defend Ukraine from Russias illegal invasion. Also a considerable part of the proceeds goes directly to [url=https://savelife.in.ua/en/]Come Back Alive and [url=https://u24.gov.ua/dronation]Army of Drones which is really nice. Slava Ukraini! That being said, i was hoping for more realism. Sadly the gameplay is way too easy and it feels like there are no stakes at all. If you're looking for a game where you can sit back and put a picture-in-picture video of some sort on your screen while playing it is perfect. I mostly criticize that the drone can fly all day over the whole map and is strong enough to pick up washing mashines whilst holding 6 grenades that magically appear out of nowhere when dropped. I also don't like that the default view of the drone is in third-person. All of which makes the game too easy and feels a bit like a mockery of what drones can and can not do and makes it unserious. I agree that you can never go fully realistic with anything but this game would profit and be more fun if there were just more action and risks involved, because as it is the enemies feel like pushovers. It would add more realism if the player could hold a gun and go prone to defend against incoming counter-drones that would follow your drone or enemies searching for the drone operator. Also it would add more fun and ingame-realism if there were those things. Also there is only the one map of the village in the game, whilst being big, you can finish it in 2-4 hours. I am looking forward to the next "Call of Duty"-style game that perfects drone warfare in a more actionpacked manner, this game whilst being exceptional and new is tragically a bit small.
