April 2026
I just finished playing *Deccollate Decoration*, and I can’t stop thinking about it. At first, it felt almost deceptively light—like something warm and exciting you could just sink into. Every ending felt like a gift, each one revealing another piece of a story I didn’t realize I was already growing attached to. I was enjoying it… maybe too comfortably. And then the Prologue unraveled everything. Suddenly, all the scattered emotions began to align into something painfully clear. Her desire to kill Kimi, to keep him forever, didn’t feel like madness anymore—it felt like desperation. A twisted, fragile kind of love that couldn’t bear the thought of losing him. And then, just as sharply, came that shift… the realization that loving someone might mean letting them live, even if it means living without you. Because if we truly love someone, don’t we want them to be happy? But love isn’t always pure like that. Sometimes it’s selfish. Sometimes it clings, tightens, refuses to let go even when it knows it should. That heavy, suffocating feeling—the one that whispers *“I can’t lose you, not after everything”*—it lingers long after the screen fades. And then came the Epilogue. It started so gross, almost uncomfortable to sit through… but by the end, it completely shattered me, breaking my heart that I just recovered into million pieces again, just quietly, deeply, in a way that it stays with you. It left me wondering: Is love supposed to hurt like this? And if it is… is it really something so powerful that we choose it anyway, even knowing the pain it brings? That we would rather hold onto it—bleeding, breaking—than live without it? If that’s true, then love might be the most beautiful curse there is. Nothing cuts deeper. Nothing lingers longer. And still… we choose it. So should we regret it—the pain, the ache, the pieces of ourselves we lose along the way? Or should we be grateful? Grateful for the moments, no matter how fleeting. Grateful that, even for a little while, we got to feel something so overwhelming, so human, so real. Maybe love isn’t about escaping the hurt. Maybe it’s about holding onto what it gave us… even when it breaks you. That's all about dear Anata

short but sweet game, i really really love it. as someone w borderline, this is the most realistic portrayal of it i've ever seen !! not sure if its meant to be but i felt rly seen by ghostie girl and how she acts,,, plus very cute art. it is quite short, but i also followed a guide to get all the endings -- if you're the type to hunt for them by urself, you'd probs get more mileage out of it ^_^

It's a game where you play as a cute, obsessive Jirai Joshi turned ghost. Trying to kill the young man she's in love with so he can come with her to the afterlife. The game is super short, and you can get the endings pretty much based around if you can trigger communication with them or not and that is through different means by making him more aware of your presence and the game can go into the direction of one possible 6 endings 2 of them are bad endings two different variants of good endings and the one true ending. The characters are nicely fleshed out, feel realistic for the spin of the game, beautiful, and adorably cute pixel art style, and then the kiss of it is that the game has a really well-done prologue and epilogue that are unlocked once you get the true ending, which are just the joy within themselves. The only thing I want more of is this game possibly exploring the twists and turns of the future and the true ending.
