This is a great game! The Charakters are interesting and diverse, the abilities are cool, the mechanics are fun and the graphics are beautiful. One of Chris Taylor's master pieces.

Great oldschool MOBA; maps look soo good. The servers are up when typing this and I played with friends last night no problem. We were able to log into online play np.

Still good old Demigod. No issue creating a stardock account when I bought the game a couple of days ago. So the Site seems to be back up.

People were all too quick to slander the game and label it DEAD, but servers were just down. They are back up again. I just played it for the first time today after owning it for many years. I enjoyed it immensely - you can have some pretty crazy battles just alone, surrounded by AI. Gameplay requires patience and persistence (due to the style of gameplay, not any flaw with the game itself). Characters are varied and super interesting. Graphics are still great after all these years, and it feels like a solid title. Saving replays works really nicely - you can relive a match from observer mode or from the perspective of any of the players. It's my first time experiencing this type of game, and I love the intense battles but slow overall progress as you make many small wins and then have to retreat, before pushing forward again. You will group, disband and regroup as you push on different points of power and then rush back to defend certain key strategic points. The levelling up is done nicely, with upgrades to powers and indeed to fortifications and other aspects of play. Gaining more gold will allow you to purchase consumables or permanent items which will improve your character and/or add additional abilities. The higher level you are, the longer it will take for you to respawn, leading you to think very seriously before sacrificing your character and losing precious seconds. It's a very engaging experience and feels very well balanced indeed. Will be sending out some copies to friends to give it a blast!

Despite never fully releasing the last 2 Demigods, it's a classic and fun little MOBA-pioneer. It's carried heavily by nostalgia, alright, balance might not be the main focus, but its fun and has some interesting and unique mechanics. It doesn't get boring fast if you actually enjoy the genre and lore - if you are bored by single player games then this is not for you. Glad I found this :)
