This is without a shadow of a doubt one of the best games to come out this year. It's essentially Tony Hawk's Pro Skater/SSX Tricky-inspired gameplay and Jet Set Radio/Bomb Rush Cyberfunk aesthetics/music combined with the stage designs and sense of speed of a 3D Sonic game. All of that while you are driving a train. Denshattack was one of my most anticipated releases of 2026, and it overdelivered. Still can't get over that peak boss fight in Chapter 7! (No spoilers) Quite possibly the easiest recommend I've ever given in my life. Buy. This. Game.

Normally I review a game to say "how much is this worth your time and money." Not today. (tldr: it's fun and silly and a rocket ride of an on-rails adrenaline rush.) Today. Today I give this game a positive review for the most EXCLUSIVE reward in all of video games: Denshattack defaults its master sound volume at 50% instead of 100%. I started the game and didn't get tinnitus. 11/10 since I still have speakers and eardrums.

The best way i could review this game is like this: Imagine you are making a Sonic game, the speed, the hidden objects in a stage, etc, and then you suddendly have the idea of combining it with Subway Surfers, you mix it up with the style of Crazy Taxi, the music of Jet Set Radio... And then you put a Train skin. That's basically Denshattack, is a game of clearing a stage in the lowest time possible, getting the highest score possible. Alot of people said this remind them of a sega dreamcast game, and is clear why, is basically, a stylish... Ride. (Please Laugh)

Works on Linux out of the box with no configs required under Fedora. This game is like SSX+Tony hawk all wrapped up in a arcade style that would fit soo well on the Dreamcast. It's the most Sega game I've played in years, without being made by Sega.
