It's a fun and interesting game that felt like it was going to be like a Kaiji/Usogui style gamble, but the mechanics are unclear and hold it back from being that. Like against the Monkey, to logically figure out the trick you need to also assume "cards in hand are hidden from your opponent," and "putting your cards down and altering them before the altering phase is one action" (pretend you King Crimson your cards on the table on confirming them). Little leaps in logic like that, even though it doesn't make much sense from the player's perspective. So, not exactly how it's supposed to be, but still really good (and if you want to figure out logical tricks, Staffer Case their previous game is god tier in that).

An extremely fun and unique game. Its about puzzle solving above all else, but presented in a way that you have to figure out what the puzzles are for yourself. If anything the main critic id throw at the game is its extremely short, part 1 and 2 is easily completable in afew hours. Actually to add onto that, for a game with only 5 major secrets to figure out, some of the dialog can be alittle heavy handed in telling you what to look for making it abit to easy at times.

Fun little game where the main gimmick is learning what supernatural powers your opponents are using to cheat at a dice game and turning those powers against them. The "Applications" update added a second part to the game that was also fun, diving further into the story of the world and testing your understanding of what you learned in the first part by giving opponents multiple powers for you to try to sort out by process of elimination.

Its an interesting game. I enjoyed my time with it, but towards the beginning i was left rather frustrated. It takes a bit too long to get into the deduction part, your likely very aware of the fact your opponent is cheating long before the game allows you to take action and start deducing their powers. I also had a few issues with the way the puzzles work/ are described to you. I almost got so frustrated with the Monkey that i gave up playing but ended up finding the answer online. I'm ultimately glad i kept going as i found the rest of the game enjoyable, especially the 2nd part.

At its core its just gambling. But it has a really fun gameplay mechanic, which makes your first few rounds really hard, trying to figure out how to counter your opponents gimmick. After you figure it out its piss easy tho. Short game, around 4 hours for all achievements, really pretty art style, buy if on sale Crippling debt/10
