Digging games are popping up all over the place and the scratch a certain itch in my brain. This ones ok, but very short. Worth a play though.

Great game, extremely satisfying digging and blowing big rocks up, and the dev is adding more content. Honestly it should have been marked Early Access, or at least have a roadmap, because dev is adding levels and the last level is currently locked off. HOWEVER, the amount of spelling errors or outright wrong words is a little immersion breaking though... I wouldn't harp on it, if it wasn't for RainStyle claiming they know how to localize and even advertise it on their page. Their page which is filled with spelling errors. The page... where they brag about their localization skills... starts with using "your" instead of the correct "you're" in that context. Hilarious.

Overall the gameplay is good. Gravity is a nice mechanic on larger bodies and the whimsical dialog is engaging. There are reviews that suggest this is just a copy of Dig-A-Hole, but that is being disingenuous and cynical. It is a digging game yes, but the comparison would be the same as saying Squad is a copy of Call of Duty. Yes, these two game share a common theme and mechanics, but Dig-A-Hole does not hold a patent on digging. My only criticism is that it seem like it is unfinished. There are several rooms on the ship that are empty with nothing to do with them, no machines to place in them or decorations, etc. Just two empty rooms. Also there is a hatch on the floor and ceiling of the ship that say "Closed". And the Corp who gives you your assignments talks about getting you access to another sector of space, but you never get that access. So I am wondering if the Devs will have some kind of content update that will add additional sectors as well as utilizing the empty rooms on the ship. As it sit right now, the game is about 4-6 hours of content, and for $5 (less than a coffee) I think it was worth it. I know I feel like I got my $5 worth. But you will find reviews where people are complaining and say it was not worth the money, but where else can you get 6 hours of fun for just $5?

It's the same type of game as "digging the hole" game. You just turn you mind off and collect stuff with a constant flow of new upgrades and mechanics. It's not deep, there is not really much to do, but "bigger numbers better pickaxe" flow takes you on a 3-4h trip into the space mining business. Again, if you want to turn your mind off for cheap - this is the game.
