Great art and atmosphere of dark fantasy. Mechanics got old pretty bad, tho' but still I like to return after... 22 years, wow.

A great expansion of the original Disciples II. The major novelty is a new playable Elven race, along with new campaigns. Recommend it with confidence. I myself finished all the campaigns and all the default maps.

Doomdrakes are raining from sky and eating my cities. Wyrms walking around like who care about it. If you want to feel alive like in real world you can try campaign its even more depressive and desperate. Your hero is challenged with thug and then killed with spells and hunted meanwhile casting storms on your slow army running away :D. Dwarfs are drinking blood from my angel and breaking all time diplomacy if they see my angel, spiders are trying to drink blood from my angel too and running like crazy...

One of the greatest turn-based strategy games featuring turn-based battles, and probably the best installment of the Disciples series, an upgrade of Gallean's Return, and a sequel of one of my fave childhood games. Nonetheless, the worst facet of it (just like the rest of series) is random number goddess's whims. Battles sometimes rely far too much on mere chance. Other than that, great. 10/10.

Amazing classic. Played this game when it was new, and have picked it up many times again over the years. Love the progressive troop/hero leveling & TBS aspects of this game. Would recommend to anyone!
