This game is the best. I like it. Call back the memory 20 yrs ago about a game named " SWAT", same style but way better graphics and effects. Well Done!

Q: What is the game like? You control a squad of 1-8 soldiers. There are a bunch of enemies and a building they sit in. Objectives are all known - kill all, free the hostages, defuse a bomb, escort a VIP. All this from a top-down perspective. You pause and give orders. Or don’t pause. Or even pre-order the whole thing and get a reward if it works Q: Is it challenging? They rate your performance after each mission, 1-3 stars. Going for 3 stars in every mission is reasonably challenging. At least you have to be careful and think before you do. Getting one star can usually be done with an "everyone go forward" type of order Q: What's the overall quality of the game (graphics, UI, sound design, attention to details, game balance, bugs, etc)? It’s good, no complaints Q: What's the best thing about the game? It scratches the tacticool itch very well. Yet it focuses on the gameplay - not on endless equipment "variety", skins, perks, and all that crap. All these things are there, but they’re just extras that never steal the spotlight Q: What could stop me from buying the game? Not too much adrenaline here. Also, gameplay is kinda repetitive - not boring at all, but it’s the same "throw flashbang and get in", "kick the door, sweep left-right", "slice the pie around a doorway", etc. Every time. AI is expectedly dumb and easy to exploit. Q: So, what would be the final recommendation? A solid 8/10, worth trying for anyone who likes tactics

I was Marine Infantry and fought in Iraq in 2004 and 2005. Having cleared thousands of rooms I can say from firsthand experience this game is pretty legit. Using real world tactics actually works and is how you'll pass missions without losing half of your squad. If you prefer going in crash test dummy style with guns blazing you will fail a majority of the missions. I highly recommend this game.

I swear to god this is the best top down CQB game. In junior high school I used to play Breach and Clear and I'm addicted to it, and I'm so glad that I found out DK series exists. This game not only remind me of good old times, it also become a perfect successor to game like Breach and Clear. Door Kickers 2: Task Force North is a great tactical strategy game that’s both challenging and fun. It lets you plan and execute missions using smart tactics and teamwork. The AI is tough, the weapons are varied, and the action feels realistic. Whether playing solo or co-op, every mission is exciting and rewarding. I swear you can replay one mission multiple times with different approach. Also, this game has full modding support, ranging from unit, sound, to custom map. Endless replayablitiy, A must-play for CQB lovers!!! Life's kinda hard but this game helps me get through it, I don't know how to thank the dev enough. I hope dev's pillow always cold, I hope the water they drink always feels like 3AM water, and I hope everytime they search their pocket it always ended up with some money in it. 1000/100 Fully recommended, even at full price.
