Pretty simple and fun! One thing that kept happening and was rather annoying is when opening a case, the button / action would get stuck, and keeps canceling the case opening. other than that, it's all fine.

This game intrigued me by the mimic horror genre and id say the mimic factor and Ai is like a 6/10 currently during early access. For instance the Ai is very recognizable and once you get the hang of it the game becomes extremely easy but this is mainly since you can literally sit in a corner and if you look at yourself once, it will take like 3 minutes and its a free win. Is that fun? No. Not in the slightest, but I feel it should not be a viable strategy to win the game. But, the Ai does feel somewhat like the others in terms of how they walk and what happens when you aim a gun at their face but also they are SO slow that the main way I die is due to me opening a weapon box or if im running through a crowd. This however I can see being fixed easy and it does not take away from the game entirely and is still pretty fun. The game can feel quite repetitive at times where its just constant same old same old, (Please make the find the mirror modifier a base game thing not a modifier) though the modifiers do make it a little more breathable. You may be reading this and see that it is all negative but thats just because ive not talked about the good! The games maps are really nice and feel very interactive and or alive and I love the artstyle of glass breaking with the clicking buttons thingy. The mimics do drive some tension when you see them but dont have anything to fight back with which is a breath of fresh air as it gives tension instead of a cheap jump scare as many horror games do. The whole game also feels very short but I think most my points WILL be changed once it is updated and worked on - I see a lot of potential. In all, the game has its flaws, but it can still be a fun game to simply pick up and play for a weekend with lots to see for the future! (:

Ubisoft didn't know what to do with old Assassins Creed multiplayer mode, but this game does :) It has great atmosphere and a lot of potential.

Fun little game and EA launch done right. The basics are very straightforward. You spawn into some grim futuristic world with a sea of meandering NPCs scattered around. Out among those NPCs is an identical clone of your (randomised) character model whose intent is to slowly hunt you down until it can kill you. Around the map you will find weapons - ranging from knives, to pistols, to dynamite and your job is to find the clone first and kill them. Killing the wrong person can get you killed by security officers - so can running around with lit dynamite or prematurely raising your gun. Therefore, you need to strike at the correct time. Simple enough? But as you progress, modifiers continue to be added. Suddenly everyone is bald thus reducing the level of distinction between models, weapon detectors prevent you going a certain route, there are environmental hazards that slow you down or hurt you, the Clone can make other citizens temporarily look the same and so forth and so on. As expected from a Roguelite, it has a simple but effective meta-progression system which allows you to enhance your skillset and items to keep up with the new tricks being thrown at you. There's also snippets of Lore about that gradually fill you in with what is going on. All in all, you get a lot for your money here - a simple, but effective gameplay loop, a metaprogression system that is not aggressively grindy and even a bit of mystery and story for those that care. On top of that the dev also added a simple multiplayer system which I have personally not tried but others have remarked upon positively. What makes this Early Access so good is that because the basic loop is so well done, all I can recommend is *more*. More weapons, more enemy abilities, more environmental affects. I am interested to see how far this goes.

After playing and reviewing the demo on May 14, I am pleased to finally see It Has My Face release into early access! At the time I was uncertain if the game was going to see the light of day because Steam listed the demo release date as 2023, but the devs responded and informed me the build I played was recent. Not only is the game as awesome now as it was 4 months ago, but to my surprise there is multiplayer! Where's Waldo meets Hitman with a sprinkle of Us. The pixel art style isn't something I'd normally associate with fear, but the paranoia of finding a weapon while you're being hunted by your clone must be experienced. For such a simple concept, the depth of the upgrade tree is rewarding and engaging. There's enough story wise to keep you going and the gameplay loop doesn't disappoint. I'd hope to see matchmaking in the future and workshop support (fingers crossed). Very optimistic and excited for what comes next. It Has My Face takes an interesting idea and executes in a way that I hope continues to expand and flourish throughout early access. If you're even remotely interested in having a good time don't let this one pass you by.
