Yeah this game is fun. Such a silly, campy story (Dracula teaming up with Van Helsing?!?) with wonderful graphics / artwork / atmosphere and genuinely engaging puzzles. I've played my fair share of puzzle games, but I swear none offer as much variety as this one does. Which seems wild to me since this is a simple 2D point and click. The developers were really on top of their game. There are also a bunch of Hidden Object scenarios that are not as easy as you think, but still doable with enough time spent searching (for that last ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ object). Also, alongside a hint system, this comes with an INGAME strategy guide, so even if you find yourself lost the developers have got you. How beautiful. For $1.50 on sale you can't go wrong. Dracula is waiting...
This is what most of those big fish games should be - including Elephant, 5Bin, etc. The graphics were beautiful. The story was good. There were lots of locations. And the perfect amount of dialog. There were lots of puzzles. And even cool object collections to get to the puzzles. But the worst part of the entire game was the unforgivable part were the hidden object scenes every 2 minutes. I almost rage quit a couple of times. It's actually distracting from the game. And there are no reason for so many of them. Very good game, would be great, except for the hidden object scenes. Thank You!!!!!!
This is a decent made hidden-object game full with pleasant riddles. Easier than their other hidden-object games, but I guess that's because too many gamers were upset about the high difficulties of their previous works. So I will count it as a plus point, that those developers here are listening to their fan-audience. Main goal is to rescue Mina from the queen of vampires and for that Dracula needs to restore the shields of ancient knights. Then he unlocks step by step more of his vampiric powers, like super-strength, discovering invisible objects or turning into a bat. It took me 6 hours of gameplay for the main game (I did skip 2 till 3 puzzles though) and 1 extra hour for completing the bonus-game. Then you can even almost double the time of the main game and the extra-game (less if you decide to skip the story and dialgous of course), if you plan to go the alternate story-route (good/bad decisions). Those decisions of conscience are about turning your enemies into vampires, or sparing their mortal life. What I didn't enjoy to be honest was Dracula himself: he's missing the whole monster-vibes, I didn't even see once his eyes glowing red, etc. It's like he's made for satisfying the needs of Twilight-fans (or in other words their love for "cute", boyish "men") and not of real horror-enthusiasts. The queen of vampires on the other hand looked so much more demonical, really enjoyed her design. Story-wise it can't compete with their previous game "Dracula: Origin" as well, because Igor feels like a Frankenstein-crossover to me and Van Helsing accepted a bit too easy in my eyes to work on Dracula's side. But because of the fun gameplay and all the hours of gaming-time, which this work here offers to us I can recommend it.
The story is SO BAD, and I love it. I love that the game acts like you're a good person, I love the brain-dead "will you bite the sexy lady?" morality system, and I even love that the visuals are just so completely over-the-top. You're trying to rescue Mina by teaming up with Van Helsing, for Pete's sake. The game worked fine for me, and most of the puzzles were good, so I'll recommend it happily.
