YUZO KOSHIRO IS BACK BABY!!! An amazing shoot'em up game with an incredible heart pounding soundtrack, good challenge and awesome graphics that push the Genesis hardware with awesome graphical scaling. My only complaint is that the soundtrack price is as much as the game. I love your music Yuzo, but come on man, that's crazy LOL
An incredible modern SEGA gen shmup! with incredible visuals and an outstanding soundtrack by the legendary Yuzo Koshiro himself! Seriously, I'd buy this game for the soundtrack alone! it's insanely good, I was hyped the entire time playing the game, the wonderful crunchy retro sound effects are a joy to the ears combined with incredible pixel art graphics that really push the game to its limits, it's gorgeous! The combat? blistering fast (or should I say blast processed :P ) action with plenty of enemy types, tons of weapons and upgrades to pick up along the way, as well as different difficulties depending on how retro you REALLY want it! A little bit expensive for a shmup, but the quality of this game is there, if you like shoot 'em ups even remotely? this is a MUST-BUY! Outstanding!
Earthion feels like someone found a lost 1987 arcade cabinet in their grandma’s basement, dusted it off, and said, “Yeah, let’s make this the future.” It’s crunchy, colorful, and proudly allergic to realism. I had fun, my thumbs had fun, and even my inner child gave it a standing ovation. Absolute retro bliss.
Probably the best shmup of 2025, and easily up there with other excellent modern horizontal shmups like Rolling Gunner, Andro Dunos 2, and Drainus. Difficulty just right, music is great, gameplay simple and on point. Easy reccomend to anyone who likes any kind of shmups. If I would fault it at all it would be that it's a little long of a sit through to completion.
