I picked this up expecting a cozy little delivery game, but it ended up being one of those games that just sticks with you. The snowstorms, lonely roads, the radio music and all the weird little mysteries come together to create such a unique atmosphere. Easily one of the coolest indie games I've played in a while. Definitely worth checking out.🐈📻❄️🚚
Thank you for not telling me where to go at every moment in the game. Thank you for for reminding that sometimes the radio can feel like it only plays the same three songs over and over again. Thank you for reminding me that sometimes tips is what keeps a driver going. Thanks for showing small moments of care and friendship in the cold dark corporate run world. Thank you for reminding me that we used to have to look at a map and track where we were ourselves with landmarks like bridges, signs and shops. Some people may complain about these decisions and call it unfinished, I call it "good game design".
This is a game about delivering packages at its core. But the more you deliver the more you start to see there's something deeply wrong about this town and the company that owns its land. The developer worked full time on retail while making this game, and i think you can see traces of that in the way easy company is handled as well as the resources management balancing the driver's expenses. After getting every ending, i think this game is a small masterpiece full of love. I hope in the future we'll see more of Sam.
