Honestly I don't know why people are complaining. I have beaten this game before solo and in multiplayer while it was still developed only by Fancy and it is still hands down the best backrooms game. Every level, every monster is very unique and you do not get bored while playing at all. I have only scratched the surface of the game in 1.0 and I am already having a ton of fun discovering all the new things in old levels. Keep in mind, before Secret Mode publisher joined, Escape the Backrooms was developed by ONE guy, who put all his free time to develop the game, adding new things while also polishing the rest. It's amazing seeing all his progress in only 2 years, while also keeping the price not only very affordable but also the same with what it was initially. The amount of content you get for the price you pay is way more than fair and I very much recommend it to both solo gamers and to play with friends. You won't regret it

Escape the Backrooms is a small highlight for me this year it’s a lot of fun playing with other players in co-op. First, the positive: creative level design. You often think, what the fuck, who came up with this? You want to keep exploring and it never stops… you’re literally trapped in the Backrooms and you develop a kind of addiction. Now the negative: the monster variety is relatively limited and the AI leaves something to be desired. I completed it in Normal mode; I don’t know if other difficulty modes are better. I hope the developers release more and more creative levels so you can continually dive into the game..
