After playing Escape the Backrooms, I can confidently say that I 100% recommend this game. Even after completing it, I found myself wishing there was more to play because I genuinely enjoyed every moment of the experience. This game delivered exactly what I was hoping for and created so many great memories with my friends. There were plenty of genuinely scary moments that made me jump out of my seat or scream down the microphone, but what I valued most was how it brought happiness, teamwork, and, most importantly, laughter to our group. There were countless moments where we laughed so hard we could barely breathe due to how we died throughout the different levels. For the best experience possible, I highly recommend playing with friends. While playing solo can certainly be tense and immersive, experiencing the game as a group creates unforgettable memories that make it even more enjoyable. Throughout my playthrough, I ended up collecting loads of funny clips and even where we were scared. The developers did an incredible job designing each level, the escape mechanics, and the various entities you encounter along the way. Every level felt unique and engaging. The proximity chat system also deserves special praise, as it adds so much to the atmosphere and overall enjoyment. It’s clear that this game was designed with cooperative play in mind, so I'd suggest to not play it alone. Beyond the gameplay itself, the game sparked my interest in the wider Backrooms lore. It encouraged me to dive deeper into the concept, explore its stories, and even made me watch the movie that came out and it certainly didn't fail to deliver. It genuinely showed how unique the backrooms truly is and how much of a terrifying place it can be. On top of all that, the price is excellent considering the amount of content available. With so many levels to explore and experiences to discover, it offers incredible value for money and most importantly funny moments with your friends. Overall, Escape the Backrooms is one of the most memorable games I've ever played and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for scares, laughs, and unforgettable moments with friends. Since there is a variety of levels, the game can last you a long time depending how much time you spend on it.
