Chaotic, buggy, sometimes absurd… and absolutely unique :) Farmer’s Dynasty 2 is one of those games that keeps making you say: “what is even happening here?” …and then you start it again the next day anyway. This is not a perfect game. It is not even a properly polished game. This is Early Access in the fullest sense — with bugs, strange physics, unclear mechanics, sometimes absurd machine behavior, and moments where you honestly do not know whether you are reporting a technical issue or taking part in some kind of agricultural comedy show. I have already had invisible trailers, a magical HDS Woocra 6 trailer that launched my tractor into the sky, a radio playing in an era where radio in a tractor feels like a time traveler, “engine” and “fuel system” upgrades for a normal trailer, workers getting stuck on fields, grass leaving behind hundreds of tiny piles that have to be picked up by hand, and windows so dirty that driving feels like a memory from a previous life. And despite all of that — or maybe exactly because of it — I love this game. Because beneath all that chaos, there is something here that I genuinely do not see anywhere else on the market. This is not just a farming sim. It is a very strange, very ambitious, and at times genuinely beautiful mix of farming, rebuilding a homestead, life simulation, NPC relationships, family story, and two timelines. This game has atmosphere. It has its own identity. It has an idea. And most importantly, it has that special kind of charm that makes you forgive it more than you probably should. I love switching between the 1960s and the modern era. I love that the past affects the present. I love rebuilding the farm step by step. But I also like that the game does not end with the field itself. There is crafting, furniture, furnishing your house and workshop, repairing buildings, and gradually bringing the whole farm back to life. There is fishing, which gives you a break from tractors and fields. There are treasures and secrets that encourage exploration and make the map feel like more than just decoration between jobs. There is also starting a family and trying to build something more than just a profitable farm. And once you reach a later stage, there is even hiring workers, so the game starts touching on managing a farm on a larger scale as well. And that is exactly what I like most here: this game is not just about sowing and selling crops, but tries to build something bigger — something between a farming simulator, a rural life sandbox, and a family saga stretched across two eras. There is one more thing that also deserves to be said honestly: the developers are present on Steam Community, they read reports, and they reply. In Early Access, that really matters. Does the game have problems? Of course. And sometimes they are very frustrating. Some mechanics are poorly explained. Some systems clearly need modernization. Some bugs can completely break the flow of the game or simply waste your time. And yes — there are moments when you feel like putting it aside for a while and coming back only after a bigger patch. But even then, one feeling remains: there is a truly great game here — it is just not fully pulled out of the mud yet. And that is why my review is positive. Not because everything works. Not because the bugs are “cute.” But because Farmer’s Dynasty 2 has something very rare: it is flawed, but at the same time absolutely unlike anything else. As a Polish player, I also have the extra satisfaction of seeing such an original, bold, and sometimes downright crazy idea come from a Polish studio. I am keeping my fingers crossed for its further development. For more polish. For more clearly explained mechanics. For one huge bug-fix patch. Because if this game gets properly refined, it could become something truly special. As of today? A buggy diamond. But still a diamond.

Had some trouble getting into FD1 but FD2 has been fun so far, played a lot of FS13 through FS25 and this game gives you more of a purpose and a goal than just getting rich. game runs and looks good, I just miss the FS25 line keeping for fields and as a colorblind person seeing the difference between cultivated and sowed gets quite hard for some seeds. other than that great game!

i gave this game a thumbs up cause i am enjoying it, but... there is alot of aspects to the game i hope will be improved on, the graphics are great, i like where this game is going but it is missing some eliments that if improved would make this game even better, some of the things i will mention is it would be nice if the animals could be bred cause as it stands right now , you purchase an animal to then butcher it then buy the animal again , there is not much profit in that. there needs to be a way to replant trees , the items you find laying allover the map helps with construction but there is going to be a time where everything has been picked up so then what ? i can pet my dog an feed him but even though i can feed the cat , i can not pet it or hold it, which is sad to me. these are just a few things i have run into . i bought the two DLC's but i dont know where to locate the cookbook or the guidebook , both would be really nice to access since i purchased them. im going to continue to play this game in hopes for improvements to come. before i end this review i will say that i do like how the fishing mechanics works, an the fish even jump out of the water. i like that the days last longer than other games i have played an i like that feature alot. thank you Devs for your hard work , keep up the good work .

Short Version: This is a fun game that is worth of the "Dynasty" name as well as Toplitz Productions. Long Version: Twice I tried to play the original Farmer's Dynasty but I experienced really bad motion sickness both times. Unfortunately, I had to give it a thumb's down because of this. Thus, I was excited to hear there was a sequel and "motion" was first on my agenda of things to check out. I have played a little over 2 hours now, and haven't experienced any motion sickness or nausea. I did have to make adjustments though. 1. Default mouse sensitivity is way too high, but that was easy to fix in settings. 2. I noticed that there was this weird "blur" in the distance that was bothering me. I turned off the FOV and that really helped as well. Since I never had a chance to truly play the first, there are things that are new to me, that may be old to other people. Use Engineer's Site often! It isn't about seeing all the junk laying around - that's pretty easy to see in the beginning. Whenever you have to repair something for a quest though, it is almost impossible to complete without using the Site. Additionally, when you are "plowing" areas for people in quests, the Engineer's Site allows you to see the area that needs to be plowed. Going down stairs is a little shaky. You don't walk down stairs, you jump down them. This can be particularly hazardous on scaffolds. This area could use some tweaking. Additionally, it would be nice if they added the "HOLD E" to gather multiple items in a vicinity that other Dynasty games have. This helps those with weak hands/wrists from years of gaming. Overall, I'm really enjoying Farmer's Dynasty! I love farming sims, and I'm pleased to add this one to my collection! LAST BUT NOT LEAST: The number 1 complainer of the game currently is that someone isn't happy that they have to buy a Cookbook for IRL cooking. They believe that should be in the game, why? That's one DLC. The second DLC is just a guide. Give it a week or two, you can google one. You don't need a guide to play this game. There is NOTHING about the DLC GUIDES that require them to be part of the game and they are just there for those who are enthusiasts and want to help the developers. So please help me and other Thumb's Up people knock that Thumb's Down out of the water! Thank you!

It's got rough edges ... And I feel like I've only scratched the surface of it.. bit it's a fantastic game the developer actually cares, I posted an invisible wall to them and they not only gave me the solution but assured it would be later fixed If this developer stick with this and really goes at it. It has all the potential to be one of the greats ... If you like everything polished id hold off for abit but failing that it's got alot of content already well after all this time I've now just finished the rebuilding of the homestead/farm let me say this it was a breath oif fresh air i ran out of stamina.... sat on the bench then i realised this is the first game that actual sit down enjoy the view on the bench and it refresahes your stamina you dont have to goto sleep and the days are oh so much longer its like you actually get to achieve tasks then goto bed after a long productive day... makes me hope there will be dedicated servers so i can take this to a whole new level.... im just updating this review as i go what i can say is this scratches even the autistic hyoer focus of being able to repair every square.... love it, getting rid of every piece of junk .... i still hate the character models but i hope that will be fixed by time
