I really enjoy this game. I personally also really liked Overcooked, and this game is similar but the art is different and the way the products are prepared are also different. The different characters in this game have different abilities unlike Overcooked, but this could also be a con that if you like how a character look then you'll have to deal with the character's special abilities and struggles. Overall amazing game!
The game is definitely hard, but it's really enjoyable for me. It's not meant to be easy, and it can take a few tries for the higher difficulties. There's many options for buffs and customizations, and I absolutely love this game. I haven't really run into any bugs in about 130 hrs of playing. It'd be nice if there was a save option in the middle of a week since each playthrough takes a while and I can't always finish it in one go. I'd recommend this game if you like being challenged and if you don't get frustrated with multitasking :) To the creator, I hope that you enjoy making this game as I really enjoy playing it and don't mind waiting until the game is complete <3
I finished the game mostly by myself. It was barely manageable, but I still pulled through. I understand that this is not meant to be a chill game and that it is supposed to be challenging. I get that the difficulty is intentional. Still, I hope there could be some optimization to make solo play more enjoyable. Playing alone feels a bit unbalanced. Some parts seem designed more for co-op, and when you are solo, it can get overwhelming instead of fun. A bit of adjustment for single players would really help the overall experience. Another thing is the earnings system. Even when you finish a location, especially the last day, the money you earn does not feel rewarding enough. Also, if you fail around Day 7 or Day 8, the reward is very low. For example, if you make it to Day 7 and end up too stressed to continue, the earnings do not really reflect the effort you put in. I wish there was a fairer reward system even if you fail to fully complete the shop level. On the last location, the recipe options feel overly complicated. The ice cream coolers are not enough if you get more complex recipes. Even if you redraw, you can still end up with a combination that feels almost impossible to complete. At that point, it feels like the only option is to quit the level, which becomes really frustrating. Overall, I do like the game. I play it to kill time, and it is fun in many ways. I just hope there can be some optimization to balance the difficulty a bit better, especially for solo players. It would also be great if new locations could be unlocked soon, or if the challenge feature could be fully released so we can earn more in-game money to upgrade the house.
