What is Final Exam? Final Exam is a beat em up , side scroller. You can play solo or with friends , there's 4 characters to choose from , of course with friends is better. But solo can be a good game too. ------------------------------------------------------ Story: The story is pretty light and not very original , basically zombies. Score: 4 Gameplay: The game feels fluid with mechanics that form a solid product, everything responds well. And very smooth , with weapons (melee/firearm/explosives) that are solid for what they are, also the characters have abilities that work very well, even more i guess, with online co-op. Score: 8 Atmosphere: The game is colorful and very like "arcadey" , so there's not too much atmosphere that can grab you and say "What a great view" Score: 6 Soundtrack: again, very arcadey, so is kinda "meh" but is good for what it is. Score: 6 ------------------------------------------------------ The game is fun , but i think it lacks more content and is more for co-op not so much for solo, so think that before buying it. Overall: The Game is A 6

"An Underrated Gem That Still Holds Up!" Final Exam is one of those hidden gems that never gets old. The fast-paced action, satisfying combat, and co-op experience make it an absolute blast to play, even years after its release. The game perfectly blends side-scrolling beat 'em up mechanics with explosive gunplay, offering a unique and refreshing take on the genre. The level design is engaging, the enemies are fun to fight, and the upgrade system keeps things interesting. Whether you're playing solo or with friends, Final Exam delivers a thrilling and chaotic experience that still feels fresh today. If you love action-packed games with a nostalgic arcade feel, this one is a must-play! 10/10 – Still fun, still badass!

You know how most co-op games are like that mate who always suggests going to the same pub every single weekend? Boring, predictable, zombies everywhere. But This game? It's like that wild friend who suddenly decides we're going salsa dancing in lederhosen - completely unexpected! These slime monsters are more original than my Uncle Mile's excuses for missing family reunions. They're not your standard brain-munching zombies, oh no. They're these gloriously weird blob-things that look like what would happen if a jellyfish had a midlife crisis and decided to start weightlifting. The combat starts off slower than my gran getting up from her armchair after a Sunday roast, but thenit transforms! It's like watching a caterpillar become a butterfly, if that butterfly was hardcore and had a black belt in kung fu. You unlock skills faster than I can down a pint, and suddenly you're not just shuffling about - you're a proper gaming ninja! The levels? They're longer and more complicated than my tax returns. And trust me, That's saying something. They're so intricate, you'd think they were designed by a cartographer with ADHD and a caffeine addiction. But here's the thing, four-player co-op is like trying to organize a hen party in a phone booth. Chaotic. Hilarious. Slightly dangerous. It's like the gaming equivalent of a perfectly mixed cocktail - a bit mental, slightly unpredictable, but bloody brilliant when it all comes together.

This game was surpricingly awesome. Now what the people in the reviews praise to high heavens is the co-op and I didn't play co-op at all, I usually write a review after getting all achievements and I could pop the online co-op achievement by making a public game and finishing the level even though no one joined. As I said, I couldn't co-op with this game but if everyone likes that aspect well I would believe them. Now what I did do, I've played my fair share of 2D beat'em ups and this one was surpricingly unique, there are a bunch of objectives that differ from 'go from point A to B while beating everything inbetweeen' and to support this the levels are labyrintic, lot's of different paths to take and lot's of collectables to find, and you should find them as they are directly tied to character progression so I found it fun and rewarding. The big problem that this aspects bring is that each level is LOOOONGGGGG and obviously it can get tedious. The characters grow in 3 ways, you can upgrade your stats, you can find new weapons, though the chainsaw that you find in the final level (and it's very hard to find) is op and there are achievements tied to it, and you can gain new abilities sadly there are only like 5 abilities on the skill tree that are unique to each character. And sadly 'rock hard' difficulty is the text book example of a badly implemented hard mode, everything twoshots you and all enemies become damage sponges, it wasn't too bad most of the time but the boat section in level 4 and the final boss were horrendous (though it's probably because it was balanced with co-op in mind). Other than that, I liked the Art direction, the characters visually are extremely distinctive from one another, the enemies could use more variety but in it's own are also very distinct from simple zombies and the game could REALLY benefit from more bosses, there are various boss fights throug out the game but it's the same boss with the exception of the final one (and it's first of 3 phases is THAT SAME BOSS just not to break the habit I guess).
