𝔸 𝕓𝕣𝕦𝕥𝕒𝕝 𝕤𝕪𝕞𝕡𝕙𝕠𝕟𝕪 𝕠𝕗 𝕓𝕝𝕒𝕕𝕖𝕤 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕓𝕦𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕥𝕤 Shank 2 is the kind of game that refuses to slow down. From its opening moments to its explosive finale, it delivers a relentless barrage of combat, violence, and stylish action that feels like an interactive action movie drawn straight from the pages of a graphic novel. The story once again follows Shank, a brutal antihero who solves nearly every problem with blades, bullets, and overwhelming force. While the narrative isn't particularly deep, it serves its purpose by providing a constant stream of enemies and excuses for increasingly intense confrontations. The real attraction here is the gameplay, and Shank 2 excels in that department. Combat is less buggy than in Shank the OG, Shank's arsenal allows him to quickly transition between melee attacks, firearms and environmental takedowns and enemy encounters encourage aggression and mobility, rather than passive defense (there is no BLOCK button in the game, just so you know) Don't get me started on the graphics in this game, that kinda remind me of Cartoon Network, and although the storyline is weaker than the first game's, I was so in love with the visual presentation that I just kept watching (and rewatching) all the cutscenes for the heck of it. The addition of a Survival Mode also provided substantial replay value. Playing Solo or cooperatively, it challenges players to defend objectives against waves upon waves of enemies. It's great, but very difficult to make it till the very last wave. (Also there are zombies, if you're interested lol) Shank 2 succeeds because it just understands the appeal of pure action. Its polished combat, stylish Catoony visuals and relentless pacing create an explosive experience that's both as thrilling as it is memorable. I know it will stuck with me long after I'm done with it. 9.5/10

I like this one more the the 1st (though I play only campaign so far). The guns shooting time window felt do-able (not self stun like in the 1st game). Control is more snappy & less delay input-ish. There is extra character & landscape have little more variety (though color pellette stay the same, so u might never notice). I'm not sure if u can play like this on the 1st one but I discovered late in game u can let shank run for 3 step forward & then just hold Y (on gamepad) as long as u can, with chainsaw. You'll bulldoze everything easy. Before I knew this the game felt like shank need longer healthbars. I hate that this game have no subtitle so I can barely heard & understand the dialogue therefore can't enjoy the story. I do wish the game carry the 1st game's a drop of coke at every end of encounter. Shank can't carry any amount of coke, only drop from enemy, so starting new encounter with minimal health ruin the fun for me. Though listed in the achievement list, I can't remember the game notify me of any combo while playing. It should've told me how to enjoy it, how to chain & maintain the multplier....or perhaps I myself missed it somehow.... bummer... Though not a must play, the game is still enjoyable regardless. Cheers!
