This game is one of the best time wasters ever. But sadly seems like the devs abandoned it. No updates and no end game. Still worth it if you really love slow progression and turning your brain off. 3 out of 5.

Whatever my gameplay hrs are on record for Fish Idle 2 you can multiply that times six (6) as I'm playing the game simultaneously on six different PCs. This is one of my favourite games at the moment because it's simple, fun, and relaxing to play. Plus once you progress enough in the game you can start just idling and raiding your chest daily. Collect enough chest and craft some cool items to progress even further in the game and/or make some passive income via selling your in game items on the Steam Marketplace. The game use to cost about $8 US then the devs made it free beginning of March 2025 so you can put your money towards a few in games items to help you progress more or the DLC Welcome Pack they are now offering. I understand there are others out there using farming software to get their in game items but I prefer the grind I'm old school; to each their own. If you're interested in fishing games, idle games, or just like to farm in game items to either collect or trade/sell then I highly recommend this game!

Do you like earning money on steam to buy games? Awsome, play this game for a month and you will have earned more than the game is worth on steam! (Atleast if it was on sale when you baught it) Do daily missions --> Get items --> Craft better items --> Level up and unlock more --> Repeat! Then sell items that you don't need or don't want. Easy Don't get the bad reviews, Its a game with steam market items that impact game-play alot. If it wasn't grindy to obtain items, they wouldn't be worth anything on the market. If you put in the grind you can earn money on steam market. If you buy items on the steam market you can skip some grind. That's how someone make money, buy selling to the people that don't wanna grind. 8/10 want more fish
