After playing the new update (and with a new PC) I can say that the game is peaker than ever before. I've only traveled to the closer moon so far but I love how well everything runs and is modelled. Anyway, the graphics are still amazing, they appear to have improved in the new update actually, and the game runs completely flawlessly on Linux and I have had zero issues so far, the game actually detects my HOTAS's yaw axis when other games (and Linux itself) don't for some reason. Sometimes when I play this game I lose track of time and play until midnight, it's just that great to play. I'd love to have volumetric clouds and better atmospheric scattering in the game, KSP mods do this with little to no performance impact and would make the game look even better than it is now. As there is little else to do in the game other than exploring and space trucking, it will get repetitive and boring after a few hours of playing. I really only found out recently how niche this game is. I thought it'd have a lot more people playing with how great it is. I would definitely recommend this game for anyone that loves space games like KSP, SR2 JNO and SFS. I will say that the game is quite expensive but totally worth its price with the amount of time you'll end up enjoying it. My one greatest peice of advice here would be: Don't rush, take your time, and pay good attention to your surroundings. Panicking and rushing about will only waste precious fuel and get you in a worse position than you already are in. Old Review: Very peak game! It's fun but starts to get repetitive slowly. Sometimes the game is a bit laggy and stuttery but it might just be my PC. Also sometimes the game keeps putting in throttle inputs even when my HOTAS's throttle is at 0, completely gamebreaking. Also patience is a virtue in this game, and the finest movement of the controls will send you hurtling kilometers away fairly quickly.

Pretty much everything you can ask for. The best of orbital without making it too brutal (it's brutal enough even with tiny assists), hypersonic shuttle and freighter spacecraft that can easily do vtol, and dynamic, ongoing campaigns and objectives in a realistic physics environment. Best of all, the controller actually seems to be a better fit for this aircraft (other than maybe easily applying trim, but you undo the trim enough, I think, with constant alt and speed changes) and make using them very intuitive. The learning curve isn't that steep, but it will take a while to get competent, and mentally estimating flight paths at hypersonic speeds for orbital or suborbital courses is fun and not as hard as it sounds. Definitely worth the purchase, one of the ones I am glad I purchased. Hypersonic orbital trucking. Best of all -- supports TrackIR! Thank you! If you like helicopters on DCS or Nuclear Option and space games like Kerbal, this is an easy buy. Adding on after seeing some unreasonable negative reviews -- what are you asking for that hasn't been delivered on? What do you expect for your $20-$30? A life solution? A whole new world? Games are changing and becoming easier to make. Don't expect Avatar-level spending and development on a niche game. Not everyone likes doing stuff like this, and there's strong competition in the same genre (e.g. Elite). I'm frankly amazed how much I'm getting for what I paid for in Early Access three years ago. Thank you devs!

joining your ships orbit with the orbit of an outpost, and then landing it or coupling with the outpost smoothly is apparently very satisfying.

Great game. A little frustrating to set up with a joystick, but super fun on an xbox controller. Dev has improved it a lot since it first came out also. It's exciting to see where this game will go.
