I love this game. I've been playing it since early access in 2022 and I've been following the game's progress. The developers have put a lot of effort into it and the community that has developed around it. Is it like Phasmo? No! I often see reviews on Steam calling it a Phasmo imitation. No! Its theme is similar and some of its elements are similar, but the gameplay is very different. The investigation is only a small part of the gameplay and much more of it is about weakening and capturing the ghost. When the ghost is hunting you don't have to hide here, you can't... but you have to defend yourself against it with protective items. It's much more exciting and adrenaline-filled. There are many more jump scares. You see the ghost much more. You can interact with it much more. It's also more beautiful and modern in terms of graphics. There's also more logic to it: Why would they call a team to my house to find out what kind of ghost it is if they don't chase it away or capture it? You have to catch the ghost here! You get one of each item for free (except for the first aid kit, which has 4 of them). You can buy additional items on the laptop in the car. (during the game, not before the game.) As the player progresses and earns money, he can also buy additional permanent items in the lobby, such as a drone that replaces the flashlight. Basic Gameplay: -Identify the ghost -Materialize the ghost so that it has a body -Weaken the ghost -Catch the ghost It sounds simple, but the ghost will not let you back down, so you have to be careful with it. There are 3 basic difficulty levels (Normal, Hard and Insane difficulty). And 7 modifications that make the game even harder and more colorful. Sanity modifier: Sanity is not a basic game mechanic here, it can be difficult without it. If your sanity runs out, you will not be able to defend yourself against the ghost's attacks. Advanced Items Modifier: Advanced items slightly modify the course of the investigation. Ecto plasma modification: Collect all 3 of the ghost's ectoplasm (which he protects) so that the catcher can absorb the ghost. Pentagram modifier: After weakening the ghost, lock him in a pentagram as a final weakening and then catch him with the catcher. Crisis modifier: You will not receive free items and the items that can be purchased in the webshop will also be limited. Run or die modifier: A ghost can start a hunt where the doors close, the player is slowed down and defenses are ineffective against him. In return, he cannot kill you immediately, but can only severely damage you. Battle royal: Want to compete with your friends to see who can catch the ghost first? Go ahead! Items are not spawned in the car, but on the map. There are 8 maps and 24 ghosts in the game. All 24 ghosts have ghost models and all have special abilities with damage mechanics, or even unique abilities such as setting traps, or creating mini mobs, etc. And ghosts get stronger according to their rank. Tier 1 and 2 ghosts only have special abilities, tier 3 already has unique abilities and tier 4 can get stronger with these abilities. (Obviously, unlocking ghosts depends on the player's level.) Not to mention the customization of the lobby, another plus point for this game. The only negative point against the game is its stability. Many people complain about its lack of optimization. Unfortunately, there are sometimes unique bugs that the developers can't replicate so they can't figure out what's causing it. But nothing that would break the game. Or something that is unforgivable for a game that costs 12.5 euros. It beats many games in terms of price-performance ratio, and is still a very enjoyable game even after 350 hours. I give it a 9/10 Értékelésem magyarul: Szeretem ezt a játékot. 2022-es early acces megjelenése óta játszom és figyelem a játék előre haladását. Fejlesztők nagyon sokat törődtek vele és a hozzá kialakult communityvel. Ugyan olyan mint a phasmo? Nem! Steam értékelésekben sokszor látom, hogy phasmo utánzatnak mondják. Nem! Témája igen és néhány eleme ugyyszintén igen, de nagyon sokban különbözik ez a játék. Játék menet csak kis részét teszi ki a nyomozás és sokkal több részét a szellem legyengítése és elfogása. Ha vadászik a szellem itt nem bújkálni kell, nem is lehet... hanem védekezni kell ellene védelmi tárgyakkkal. Sokkal izgalmasabb és adrenalin dúsabb. Sokkal több jump scarek vannak. Sokkal többet látod a szellemet. Sokkal többet iteraktálhatsz vele. Grafikailag is szebb - modernebb. Több logika is van benne: Miért is hívnák egy csapatot a házamhoz hogy kiderítsék miyen szellm van, ha nem űzik el vagy kapják el? Itt el kell kapni a szellemet! Minden használati tárgyból egyett ingyen kapsz (kivéve a elsősegély dobozból, abból 4-et). További eszközöket a kocsiban lévő laptopon megveheted játék közben. (Nem játék elött.) Játékos fejlődésével és pénz keresetével még plusz állandó eszközöket is vehet a lobbyban, mint példáúl egy dron ami kiváltja a zseblámpát. Alap Játék menet: -Azonosísd be a szellemet -Materiaziáld a szellemet, hogy legyen teste -Gyengísd le a szellemet -Kapd el a szellemet Egyszerűnek hangzik de a szellem nem hagyja magát vissza támad, így vigyázni kell vele. 3 alap nehézségi fokozat van (Normál, nehéz és insane nehézség). És 7 modifikáció ami még nehezbbés és még színesebbé teszi ajátékot. Épelméjűség módosító: Épelméjűség nem alap játék mechanika itt, anélkül is tud nehéz lenni. Ha elfogy az épelméjűséged akkor nem tudsz védekezni a szellem támadásai ellen. Fejlett tárgyak módosító: Fejlett tárgyak kicsit a nyomozás menetét módosítja. Ecto plasma modifikáció: Gyűjtsd össsze a szellem 3 ectoplasmáját (amiket ő véd), hogy a catcher betudja fogadni magába a szellemet. Pentagram módosító: Szellem gyengítése után még egy utolsó gyengítés képpen zárd meg őt egy pentagramába és utána kapd el a catcherel. Crízis módosító: Ingyenes tárgyakat nem kapsz ésa webshopban is korlátozott lesz a megvehtő tárgyak. Run or die módosító: Szellem índíthat olyan vadászatott ahol az ajtók bezáródnak a játékos lelassúl és a védelmi eszközök hatástalanok ellene. Cserébe viszont nem tud azonnal megőlni téged hanem csak erősen sebezni. Battle royal: Versenyezni akarsz a barátaiddal, hogy ki kapja el hamarabb a szellemet? Hajrá! Tárgyak nem a kocsiban spanolnak, hanem a map-on. 8 térkép és 24 szellem van a játékban. Mind a 24 szellem szellem modeelllel rendelkezik és mind különleges képességgel sebző mechanikákal, vagy akár egyedülálló képeséggel úgymint csapda letétele, vagy mini mobok készítése, stb. És a szellemek ranguk szerint erősődnek. Tier1-es és 2-es rangú szellemeknek még csak speciális képeeségük van, tier 3 már egyedülálló képeseggel is rendelkezik és tier 4 már vissza is tud erősödni ezen képeségeivel. (Nyílván a szellemek feloldása a játékos szintjétől függnek.) Lobby egydire szabásáról nem is beszélve, egy plusz érv e játék mellett. Egyedüli ellen érv a játék ellen az stabilitása. Sokan panaszkodnak az optimalizálatlanságára. Sajnos akadnak néha egyedi bug-ok amiket a fejlesztők nem tudnak leutánozni így nem is tudjákkideríteni mi okozza. De semmi olyan ami összetörné a játékot. Vagy olyan ami nem bocsátható meg egy 12,5 euró ért kaható játéknak. Ár érték arányban sok játékot leköröz, és 350 óra után is még nagyon élvezhető játék. Nálam 9/10 pontot ér ez a játék!

Absolutely love this game, In my opinion better than other games for the features that you can defeat the ghost and not just guess what kind of ghost he is. BUT THERE IS ONE THING Please please please add more maps. Here are some ideas that I would find great: 1. A castle in Europe- dark spirits of knights and lords lurk here 2. An old farm/ ranch- you need to check barns etc. 3. Maybe even a ghost town in a swampy region, where you team up with 4 or more people and investigate the whole village This is just because it slowly is getting more boring with there not being enough maps to really immerse in the vibe- other than that 10/10 game keep going

lol at the almost no play time reviews! biased butt hurt reviews that something fun is out there making competition to their favored game. asset flip this and that "abandoned game" lol constant updates and now full release. 0.7hrs played lol get a life. I've played this since it came out, it used to be too easy on hardest difficulty and you could even run without a light and still beat the levels, then they updated that and made dark, dark! and then added more and more ghosties. let's make something clear if you like spooky games you will enjoy them for what they are and they all have their charm or lack of. phasmophobia has its own charm and so does this. what i like about this better is the ability to not only identify the ghost but also to catch the little bastard. there are different mechanics you can add to your runs to make them more fun a.k.a harder. and if its too easy increase the difficulty level and add more mechanics, get the ectoplasm, do a ritual, use advanced tools its all your choice how hard or easy you want it to be. its best played with friends but solo is also doable. saying 1 game is better than the other is just silly so just ask yourself, do i want to catch or no catch. no catch phasmo, catchy catch then this is for you. both games are fun in their own unique way :D

A friend of mine got hooked on this game and suggested that another friend and I buy it so we could all play together. We decided to give it a shot, and I have to say that I’m really surprised by how good it is! Ghost Watchers is exactly what I always wished Phasmophobia would be: an investigative horror game with a touch of survival elements. I always wanted Phasmophobia to have jump scares, ways to actually exorcise the entities, and better chances of survival. (That whole "you get touched once and it’s game over" mechanic always felt kind of dumb to me.) Anyway, if you're looking for a game like Phasmophobia, but with a bit more horror, this is the perfect choice.
