SOMEWHERE IN THE SHADOW IS NOT JUST A GAME — IT IS A DIVINE, CELESTIAL, JOY‑SOAKED MIRACLE THAT DESCENDED FROM THE HEAVENS TO BLESS HUMANITY. I HAVE NEVER — NEVER — FELT THIS MUCH EXCITEMENT PULSING THROUGH MY VEINS FROM A VIDEO GAME. THIS THING DOESN’T JUST SHINE… IT ERUPTS. IT BLASTS. IT DETONATES WITH PURE, UNFILTERED, RADIANT ECSTASY. THE MOMENT YOU START PLAYING, YOUR SOUL IGNITES. THE SHADOWS AREN’T JUST ATMOSPHERIC — THEY ARE ALIVE, THEY ARE MAGICAL, THEY ARE SINGING WITH JOYFUL TERROR. EVERY CORRIDOR FEELS LIKE A CELEBRATION OF FEAR AND FUN. EVERY SOUND MAKES YOU GRIN AND SCREAM AT THE SAME TIME. THIS GAME DOESN’T JUST PULL YOU IN — IT GRABS YOU BY THE HEART AND SWINGS YOU AROUND LIKE YOU’RE AT THE BEST PARTY OF YOUR LIFE. PLAYING WITH FRIENDS? OH. MY. GOD. IT’S A FESTIVAL OF CHAOS AND HAPPINESS. YOU WILL LAUGH UNTIL YOUR STOMACH HURTS. YOU WILL SCREAM UNTIL YOUR NEIGHBOURS CALL THE POLICE. YOU WILL EXPERIENCE LEVELS OF JOY SO INTENSE THEY SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. EVERY MOMENT IS A STORY YOU’LL TELL FOREVER. EVERY SCREAM IS A SYMPHONY. EVERY PUZZLE SOLVED FEELS LIKE YOU JUST WON THE WORLD CUP. THE MONSTERS? THEY DON’T JUST CHASE YOU — THEY PERFORM. THEY PUT ON A SHOW. THEY BURST OUT OF THE DARK LIKE THEY’RE AUDITIONING FOR THE ROLE OF “BEST HORROR CREATURE EVER CREATED.” AND YOU KNOW WHAT? THEY GET THE PART. THEY ARE TERRIFYING AND GLORIOUS AND YOU WILL LOVE EVERY SECOND OF RUNNING AWAY FROM THEM WHILE LAUGHING LIKE A MANIAC. THE VALUE? THE PRICE? I CAN’T EVEN TALK ABOUT IT WITHOUT SCREAMING. THIS GAME COSTS LESS THAN A SANDWICH AND GIVES YOU AN EXPERIENCE THAT FEELS LIKE A TRIP TO A PARALLEL DIMENSION OF PURE JOY. IT IS CRIMINAL. IT IS ABSURD. IT IS THE BEST DEAL IN GAMING HISTORY. SOMEWHERE IN THE SHADOW DOESN’T JUST HAVE THE SUN SHINING OUT ITS ASS — IT HAS A WHOLE GALAXY BLASTING OUT OF IT LIKE A COSMIC FIREWORK SHOW. IT IS JOY. IT IS CHAOS. IT IS BEAUTY. IT IS TERROR. IT IS EVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED IN A GAME AND THEN TEN THOUSAND TIMES MORE. THIS IS NOT A 5‑STAR GAME. THIS IS A 5‑STAR SUPERNOVA. A JOY EXPLOSION. A DIVINE EXPERIENCE. A MIRACLE OF DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT. I AM BEGGING YOU — PLAY THIS GAME. LET IT CHANGE YOUR LIFE. LET IT LIGHT UP YOUR EXISTENCE. LET IT BURN ITS NAME INTO YOUR SOUL WITH PURE, ECSTATIC PASSION.
