the physics are insanely scuffed and there's a serious "modded moveset" problem. in gladio mori you are able to create custom movesets and in a vacuum this would be great. unfortunately the first thing people did was create goblin stances and meta stances to ruin multiplayer lobbies. i like this game a lot but please, please fix this issue

Its really customisable in the way you can play. you can make good/cool move sets where you act/move like an actual human, or you can crawl and jump around on the ground like a bug and murder the lobby with your OP disfigures looking thing that hops and skuttles its way through your opponents. Over all good game exited for what's to come.

I got this game for the multiplayer physics based fencing, but at first almost refunded the game. I didn't understand the nuances of the moveset creator and got bored quickly. However, something made me realize that i was being an idiot, and that i completely skimmed past that feature. I did some tinkering around with it and actually read the "help" bar and now I'm very interested. You can use the basic movesets as a baseline for new techniques and weapons. Something about the pride you get using moves you yourself crafted to get the better of an opponent is very cathartic. After realizing this, I began hammering and refining new moves for hours, and I've got to say its unlike any other game i've played. Someone else stated that this game would appeal to anybody with some interest, knowledge of, or experience in hema or fencing, and they are correct. This game interlaces the uniqueness of a fight (both with bots and people) as seen in games like toribash or halfsword with the tactics and movements seen in actual fencing. For an honest score of the game, I would rate the game 8.9/10, very much worth the money. The only major downsides are the lack of players (especially new ones) on the multiplayer and the difficulty of first comprehending the moveset creator. PS. Your body can feel quite fragile, but i love how the arms can take a lot of that damage without being cut through, leading to the created fighting styles like the rapier to have a nice mix of dangerous lunging attacks and more conserved cuts. Also, the way your body reacts to damage is cool and fun, with different damaged areas having different effects on your mobility.

Very fun game, my only problem is the price. Once this game is more developed I will understand. 9/10 game anyways.
