A very solid RTS with a unique twist: you play as factions led by heroes who empower different aspects (healing, raiding, converting). Resources don't run out but are scattered and workers are made automatically but are limited, you also need to balance resources gathering and faith using said workers. Very fun, has a great deal of promise

Found this game while looking for a game to scratch that nostalgic itch for Warcraft 3. The campaign definitely fulfills that gameplay I've been missing. The biggest thing for me being that every mission can be played co-op. Speaking of said campaign, level layouts are varied and the gameplan for each mission feels distinct enough to not feel repetitive but I can't help but hope they create even more unique missions down the line like ones where you need to capture positions or race the enemy to an endpoint or huge battles where you see fortresses on either side. I also like how there are usually a few different side objectives you can do in each mission but I feel that a few of them are a bit vague on where you're supposed to go, making you walk around the entire level to find out the specific spot you need to either escort a unit to or pick up something. In terms of gameplay, I enjoy it quite a bit. Collecting resources is mainly done through nodes, meaning collection buildings can be built far away from your main base but also making being choked out for resources a very real challenge. Being able to construct hard barriers like walls a lot with defense but with the player shrine being the only building you need to destroy to win, I feel like there's very little you can do aside from walls and building to create narrow choke points to stop a large army from running in and only targeting you're shrine. That's what my campaign missions usually ended up being at least. All and all I enjoy the game quite a bit and hope it continues to be developed. I think it was really good potential.

This game is THE best up and coming RTS game in my opinion. I have been looking to get that same feeling I did as a child playing warcraft 3, Age of mythology and Age of Empires, and I haven't found a new game that gives me the same feeling, until now. Godsworn is a rough gem at the moment, but it is without a doubt the game I am most excited for in the coming years. The devs have a clear passion and feeling for the genre and despite tough times in the games industry I hope they will be able to keep grinding and release this game in due time. Best of luck to the devs, I am rooting for you!!

I really like this. I've got Lithuanian heritage, so it's really cool to see that folklore represented in one of my favorite game genres, but even if I put that aside the game underneath that theme is refreshingly good. The factions are varied (there is some overlap between them, but they feel fairly distinct from each other), the powers are cool and powerful (they feel on-par with what you get in Age of Mythology, except they are more numerous and consume a resource in addition to having cooldowns), progression throughout the match feels like it's dialed in appropriately, unit pathfinding is better than a lot of RTS games, map quality, map variety is better than other RTS games which came out this year (even if it's a little light), and the variety of units and structures is enough to keep me from getting bored. To add to this, the aesthetic is appealing (reminiscent of the 3d RTS games from Blizzard) and the music, while fairly repetitive in EA due to a lack of tracks, is great. I have not really explored much of the campaign yet as skirmish vs AI is usually my bread-and-butter in these games, but I know the developers are putting a lot of effort into that right now. I'll be giving it a look once it's completed. I am excited to see the improved animations that have been teased in recent devblogs, I am looking forward to the campaign finishing, and I've love to see more maps, and it'd be great if more units/techs/structures were added which helped differentiate the existing factions even more. To me, the game was worth the $30 pricetag because I loved the combination of theme and genre, but for those who are less interested in the Baltic states and are evaluating based purely on conent the price may be a bit steep based purely on the what is currently on offer. Thankfully, there's a demo available for you to try. This is a great game. I definitely recommend it.
