A year later NATO takes over a former Russian secret base built on Polish soil. Diggers discover a laboratory complex in the completely demolished town.

It's not easy for me to enjoy a game with turn-based combat, so it's no surprise this game couldn't do it—it's a style that doesn't really appeal to me. However, it was somewhat close to it, so that's a plus. That aside, I do recommend it if you enjoy retro games with turn-based combat. The story and characters are not particularly interesting, but the visuals have a charm to them, and you'll have to be strategic with your actions or you'll be punished.

Short review: Welp, that's an hidden gem right there! An RPG turn-based strategy where strategy, items and placements are way more relevant than stupid grindy mechanics (and the story is really cool.... despite not having a sequel!) don't get me wrong, it's nearly not perfect but it is quite the oddity, and something 'fresh' (despite being decades old), rarely seen in the videogame market. Just one thing: don't get alienated by the high difficulty at the start, not after long the game gets way easier but still fun!

Very fun turn-base game! Dialogues are great, and the story is well put together. Due to the age of the game, unfortunately it will not work for everyone. The first time I tried multiple things, run in compatibility mode, run as an admin. Some months later, 'luckily' Windows failed for me for a different reason and I had to do a fresh reinstall. I though I would try this game once more, and what do you know. it worked right away. Yes, there might be some graphical glitches (again, the game's got some age), but that does not take away from the fun. Run it in Software mode So if you can get it to work on your machine, I'd say it's definitely worth it.
