Pretty solid HOG. The story is okay, pacing flows nicely. They don't keep you too long on one section, so it doesn't get boring. A good variety of puzzles and different hidden object scenes. Overall, nothing too special, but I had fun.

The gameplay is decent, except some unintuitive moments where you have to go back through several rooms you cleared a long time ago, and my only other gripe being that there aren't enough hidden object puzzles in this hidden object game. (Mild Spoilers?) My actual problems are with the story, where the game expects me to sympathize with an out-of-touch rich woman throwing a tantrum because she doesn't get to marry the psychotic evil hobo someone found injured under a bridge, and then expects me to feel good about her and the hobo killing thousands of people because she was mad at five of them, when only one of those five was actually sorta guilty of something, seeing as he tried to kill the hobo when the hobo shot him. The game also expects me to sympathize with said hobo, because, even after killing thousands of people by knowingly and informedly using the plot maguffin exactly how he was repeatedly told NOT to use it, he said it's mean for people to want him to take even a shred of responsibility and apologize, because he was sad that one time. The game then expects me, at the end of the bonus chapter, to believe that this selfish psychopath would ever commit a heroic sacrifice, in spite of the multiple HOURS I've seen of him that very much prove the opposite. The hobo even attempts to use the plot maguffin again at the very end of the game, even with how many people have already died because of his stupid, self-serving, evil actions with it previously. Both of these awful people make me wish steam had a "meh" button, but instead I am recommending it only because the minigames and other mechanics are solid, nothing was broken, and they have a working map.

I loved this game, in fact I like all the Grim Legend games. It's colourful and has a lovely story attached to it which is nice to go through. The puzzles were good and hidden objects screens I loved. Well done to those who made it! I hope there's more to find.

I haven't even finished it, but this is one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. Got it on sale and I can't believe my eyes. Scratches the same itch Nightmares From the Deep left, the story is captivating, the graphics are so unbelievably amazing, I love this game already!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this game. Graphics and sound are good, story is fine and progressing in good speed, and all gameplay mechanics work well. The riddles are easy, but satisfying nonetheless. When you like hidden object games in general, I can recommend this one.
