Incredible. The visual artstyle is unparalleled, the music - enchanting. Highly recommended. Just as a word of warning - the game is short (good for her) and you'd benefit from playing it all in one sitting. So, if you can, dedicate a day to it.

I remember first seeing GRIS when my brother talked about it. However, his explanation fell short for how much I like this game. I am not a skilled gamer, or someone who can put hours upon hours into a game, so this relatively short and 'easy' game was perfect for me. And we haven't even got to the visuals or music yet! I love games that look good, and with this game (and their studio) every frame is a masterpiece. The music is very emotional and I listen to the soundtrack still. It's a beautiful experience, and I highly recommend people to play it. Something personal that I liked in the game is the lack of 'death', in that your character can never die. This put me at ease to figure out the puzzles and plot, but someone else may think their actions have no consequences. The themes however speak louder than the gameplay, in that you are playing a story, not writing it. That's how it is, you can't change it. This is my comfort game, and it stays beautiful everytime. My thanks to Nomada Studios.

Oh my God what a masterpiece. This is nothing short of a love letter to art and storeytelling. The theme of the plot is reflected in the game progression very subtly and carefully. The gameplay feels smooth and simple with very intentional interactions with the world that elevate the experience. The levels are incredibly unique while still being intertwined with appropriate game mechanics, which also reflect the protagonist's journey very aptly. The art style, the environmental design, music, everything is absolutely top notch. The ending hits like a truck and will make you tear up. 100%ing the game feels worthwhile with the puzzles being quite intuitive to solve, and yet some collectibles can be quite well hidden. Took about 6 hrs for the base run, and 8 hrs total for all the achievements, and it was well worth the money spent. Easiest 10/10, highly recommend it.
