the game is decent gets a litle annoying that they are all the same and the animation of the bullet traveling wish you can turn it off. i would like to see more maps women and weapons to this game. Other than that its a good game just to go into every so often to see how long you can last.

H-SNIPER: World War II, developed and published by Konnichiwa Games, is a minimalistic budget shooter that delivers exactly what its title suggests—sniping in a World War II setting. At its core, this is a straightforward experience with very little fluff, aimed squarely at those seeking a no-frills, low-cost shooter. The game doesn’t aspire to be a historical epic or a simulation; instead, it offers a series of missions where the primary goal is to take out enemy targets from a hidden position, and it does so with surprising focus given its incredibly modest price point. The gameplay loop is as basic as it gets. You assume the role of a sniper placed in a static or limited-movement position somewhere on the battlefield, with enemies approaching in waves or walking patrols. Your job is to eliminate them quickly and cleanly, ideally before they detect your position. There is no story, no grand context beyond the vague World War II theme, and no real character development or tactical complexity. What you see is what you get—a shooting gallery with a period-appropriate skin. But this simplicity is also what allows the game to be accessible. There’s no learning curve, no setup time, and no tutorial needed; you can launch it, get into position, and start shooting almost immediately. In terms of presentation, the visuals are very basic. The environments are functional and themed appropriately for a World War II setting, with muted tones and simple props, but they lack depth and realism. Enemies often have repetitive models and limited animations, which can make the combat feel mechanical after a few rounds. Audio design is similarly minimalistic. Gunfire sounds are serviceable, though often reused and lacking punch. There’s no real environmental ambience or layered sound to speak of. However, considering the game’s ultra-low system requirements and low cost, the expectations for technical polish are understandably limited. For those playing on older or less capable systems, it might actually be a welcome return to the days of simpler, undemanding PC games. Where the game finds some legs is in its light replayability through Steam achievements and the simple satisfaction of completing waves of enemies. It doesn’t offer a leveling system or customization options, but the repetitive loop can be oddly satisfying in short bursts. There are enough small variations in enemy placement or timing to keep you engaged for at least a few sessions. The game also supports multiple languages, which expands its accessibility to a broader player base, and the modest file size and system requirements make it easy to download and run on virtually any machine. Despite its bare-bones nature, the reception for H-SNIPER: World War II has been generally positive. Many players appreciate what it is: a cheap, fast-paced shooter with no unnecessary complications. Reviews often highlight how well it works as a casual game or something to play when you don’t want to invest deeply in mechanics or narrative. On the other hand, criticism is directed at its lack of variety, depth, and polish. After a few missions, it becomes apparent that the game recycles most of its content, and there’s little incentive to keep playing beyond personal score-chasing or achievement hunting. Ultimately, H-SNIPER: World War II is a game that knows exactly what it is and makes no attempt to be more than that. It offers a simple, occasionally satisfying sniper experience for a fraction of the cost of most games on the platform. For players seeking realism, complexity, or immersion, it won’t come close to delivering. But for those just looking to spend a few minutes picking off enemies from a distance without worrying about plot or progression systems, it delivers a clear, focused gameplay loop. It’s far from a masterpiece, but within its own humble framework, it achieves what it sets out to do. Rating: 8/10

Such a silly game and yet requires skill. It only feels silly due to the bikini clad enemies. That's the visual draw too. Wish there was more here, like shoot several in a row for achievements, mortar shot, place mines, machine gun them, call in plane dive bombers.
