The people disliking this game are hilarious. Yes, you do kill the sheep but they turn into a puffball of smoke and then spit out meat, basically, its not bad. At its heart, this is a simple multitasking/farm simulator with cute sheep that you very occasionally slaughter. (halfway through the achievements and ive only had to kill 1) (edit: by the time i finished i killed maybe 5, probably less) only thing id fix is the price. $7.50 seems more reasonable for the amount of content. Also late game automation leaves much to be desired, my hand is fuckin killin me

At the current time of this review (8/21/24) I've finished the quests in the list, and unlocked everything available (Save for Nametags, which aren't available yet.) I was able to complete the game in just under 8 hours, but I spread it out over a few days. Pros: -The art, animation, and setting of the game matches itself well. Offering a relaxing environment and area where one can raise their sheep. -The quests are linear, which allow for deviation to save up money for upgrades before continuing if one wishes to do so. -The process of crafting food, items, etc is unique in their own ways. Sometimes requiring tools in order to further process a specific item in the recipe. -Devs seemed to be communicating well on Steam (I haven't joined the Discord.) Along with the forums on here with people talking of changes to be made about harvesting sheep, and other changes. -The market at the top of the screen is a cute touch, it also allows for accessibility when it comes to selling products, and adds more detail to the overall area. - Cons: -The music looping isn't a deal-breaker, and can be turned off if one wishes. It isn't irritating or annoying unless you are watching something or at work while playing. There is only one 'track' that I could tell, but its lengthy enough to not notice the looping. -Everything kind of slides everywhere when you use it (Ex. You use a bucket on wheat crops to water them. It slides east a little across your map.) In which, you pick it up, then drag it back to the well, only for it to slide away from your grasp again. I'm not against this kind of animation, but my arm cramped up around mid-game several times due to the precision required to grab several items to move them. It gets more intense late game when you're attempting to manage 3-4 processes and care for the sheep. Not to mention the screen does shake a little with every action taken. -I've only done a few calculations for earning money, but I found a few recipes that were easy to process and netted me some healthy gold for mostly watching instead of click intensive recipes that would get me a smaller amount. Near the end, I stopped harvesting Sheep completely and purchased materials because it would be faster. -Some of the processes for crafting items feel mostly redundant or simply put in place to offer multiple recipes for one source of item (Ex. Milk can be turned into several different ones, and they vary by complexity.) Suggestions: - Add in some variations of music, already enjoy whats in place and adding a variation of music can add immense value. -Add in a 'shake reduction' for some actions, having 11/12 sheep all eat and poop at once got pretty intense. -Motion is mostly based within the fence of the farm. I'd love to see some vehicles or some other animation outside of the player interaction area to add life to the rest of what is visible. -The days seemed to blend together quickly, there was no night mode or anything to indicate besides the chime of the bell and the sheep demolishing a trough of wheat left near them. -Containers perhaps? Or a way to move multiple items across the farm would be nice, having to drag 10+ bottles to the dry sink got old quick, it ain't much..But it's honest work. -An endgame hasn't really been established, once all of the quests have been completed, there isn't much else to do besides start again and do things faster maybe. I'd love to see a leader board or some other idea that would allow for some minor player interaction. Conclusion I very much liked this game, I got excited to see the next quest, and what i'd need to accomplish. Along with raising and harvesting sheep to not only make more food, but items as well. I only ever encountered one crash while playing (Putting something into another thing as soon as the day rolls over seems to be the culprit!). Otherwise my frame rate was consistent, the overall ambiance and 'vibe' of the game was commendable. I can see the game going up from here as the Devs continue to work upon it.

Overall a 7/10. Indeed a chill game and great for winding down but it gets extremely hectic the more you progress. Need's more automation B-)
