Experienced on the Meta Quest 3 You can view my VR mod gameplay here: https://youtu.be/s0UrlsQwfRE Yes, you can play Hellboy Web of Wyrd in VR using the UUVR mod by Raicuparta. The easiest way to install the mod correctly is to download and install Raipal (an app that lets you easily install the correct UUVR mod). In this game, I installed UUVR Mono modern. I only did one edit to the config file, which was "UI Patch Mode = None". That is to get rid of the black square UI that blocks the view partially. Keep in mind, the game is in 3rd person. Also, motion controllers are not used in this mod. You play with a gamepad. Also, currently, part of the UI is not visible on the VR headset as it renders to the desktop view only. So you'll need to be able to take quick peeks at the desktop to read along with the VOs or to read some UI info. Other than that, the game looks and plays great. The cell-shaded comic book art-style really shines in VR. The game also ran well on my RTX 5090. VR mod rating 7/10. I bought this game! Simple but enjoyable combat, and very visually appealing (who doesn't like Mike Mignola's style?) to boot. The upgrade system and loadout customization, unlockable lore, and learning how to finesse enemies in combat makes for a good gameplay loop with some replayability.

The difficulty spike after the prologue is a little steep, but this game is great! The combat is on the simple side, controls and camera are clunky and claustrophobic, but it's workable. Highly recommend using a controller. It's so much easier in my experience.

This is an odd little game, but it's different and the combat is fun once you settle into it in a Super Punchout kinda way. The rogue-like elements could be more impactful and it's not always clear how to counter some enemy attacks, but loop is satisfying and the art is great.
