Going purely based on the game that is released right now would I recommend someone to get the game now probably not going based on that the game will a) not get any updates b) changing the game into a pseudo story mode with players unlocking content by adventure mode c) the fact that you can now buy upgrades before a run is began and temporary powers. Apart from them features the game itself is competently made the base movement and grapple hook is interesting and unique to use (imo still dont know why they added the dash straight up allows you to skip a majority of the traps in rooms) since it gives the player a good few ways of dealing with the area also the idea of unique whips giving a positive and a negative was honestly super cool in the original version idk if they are still there since I last played. The phantom feature when you are in a large lobby is honestly super cool since you get to see what others were doing inside the same room and can use them to your advantage if you wanted such as seeing where they go and stuff The rooms themselves are on average competently made for a good majority of them you are able to just tell a path the you would want to take in a short glance allowing you to do quick runs or you can take your time, the guardians/bosses are either a slight nuisance or the most annoying thing ever made themselves they are fine but the Red one that chases you is the most fun since it makes you feel like death is coming even if it only does like 2-3 health on hit. Overall if you yourself do not care about this game never being updated and you find it at a sale and your good with having to deal with some bs then sure get the game cause imo it is one of them games that I just enjoyed the feeling of playing is the game.

A really nice game, very fluid movement, good maps and a nice gameplay cycle as a whole. The only thing i dont understand is that if the game requires me to have an internet connection, then why dont you give me a decent multiplayer experience? Why do I have to play with the bots? That isnt as engaging as playing with real people.

This feels like a hidden gem, don't really know anyone else that plays this, it's a fun, unique experience. Guess it's for those into a competitive speedrunning-esque niche with how to have to out run the ghosts that failed before to perform well.

fro $20 it was a very fun game, the "story" is a bit short IMO but I can't complain as when i first played it there was none. Good game and the difficulty is well balanced, the parkour is also really fun
