It's good....... but............ It is far too short and although it may seem like there is a lot to do, you come to realize that there are only actually ever 5 missions that you grind over and over and they are pretty well the same over and over. The combat is fun, however fights are few and far between for how many weapons this game has available, you would swear this was going to be a top down swarm game.

+ good atmosphere and execution + forum moderation works +/- gameplayloop is a bit repetitive, but within reason - the game was abandoned before development reached release-standard, with an incomplete story and some unfixed bugs - overpriced at 20$, maybe 10$ would be a better price

Yes, but only on sale. Sadly abandoned, HellSign had obvious potential and it's a shame. Hints at an interesting story with immersive sim mechanics, but lacking depth and direction. Definitely worth a buy on sale for a few hours of a decent attempt at an investigative supernatural shooter.

Bought on sale for 90% and its definetly worth it. Ignore mixed reviews and ask yourself - do you want investigate paranormal activity? do you want hunt some creepy fellas? do you like game which rewards you if you pay attention or do your homework? One thing i can say this game i would say has its own unique category which i doubt you would see in other games like being at same time action, rpg, investigation and horror game. Usually when you think its horror game its either hide and seek game or just simply action game. Now i would like to agree with mixed reviews that games is short, has some performance issues (especially im talking about those enemies which spawn even more enemies), the default price is kinda steep for its content and gameplay have technical issues - which all boils down to that game is abandoned since there was no updates since release. But with if you see this game with heavy discount (+75%) i would suggest to go into it blindly and try it out, because like i said with my previous point - the game is unique and i doubt you gonna find similar game to it. If you need short version, i'd say its like combo of STALKER and The sinking city but instead of hunting artifacts and focusing in lovecraftian lore, its about paranormal lore and hunting haunted items and more dangerous things.

Interesting idea and a very good game, but unfortunately was abandoned by the authors/developers, either due to lack of desire, or because of being bankrupt. It's a real shame, but that's the kind of ending that affects a lot of folks in the world of creating video games. At a certain point in the story, after the task of killing the “boss-spirit”, you will be told about the continuing and a new chapter, but this is the end for you, there is nothing in the game further, no new content, for more than a few years now. But I still recommend to try and check out the game, at least at a discount, it can keep you playing for a few evenings, especially for fans of this kind of genre and gameplay.
