Reviewing this one is... Complicated, to say the least. Even the slightest of spoilers is pointless if you've played it, and will ruin the experience to the point of this being not recommended if you haven't. As a matter of fact, due to the way that the game is designed, you can accidentally spoil yourself mid-gameplay. What I can say without spoiling is: You play in front of an old computer, trying to piece together a murder story told through hundreds of scrambled clips, ranging from a few seconds to 2 minutes long, gathered from seven different police interrogations in a station. You can search for keywords, and the first five videos where that word was said will pop up on chronological order. The mechanic itself is pretty unique and fun, though for completionists, late game will basically be a game of "guess the word and hope the video comes up", getting pretty repetitive. The way the story is told is amazing when coupled with that mechanic, slowly piecing together what is going on was something I felt was nice and quite easy to be obsessed with. However, you can also type a random word and immediately stumble into a big part of the story, making you feel underwhelmed with it because you just spoiled it yourself. Even though that didn't happen to me, I still wish there was a "fail-safe" mechanic in order to avoid it. Despite that, it's easy to find yourself wrapped into with everything that happened. Yeah, there's a murder to solve, but also you can find yourself REALLY wanting to know what happened on that tangent about her childhood and digging deeper and deeper into it. The mechanic is pretty intriguing, but the story itself has no real replay value, it's something you play once and be done. So I'm on the fence of recommending it. Still had a decent time, so thumbs up I guess. Absolutely get it if you see it on a decent sale, and try your best to avoid spoilers until then.

For what it is, it's great. I think Seifert's performance was delightful and kept me interested for the almost 5 hours I spent playing. I don't really get how people are upset by this and saying it's barely a game; it's basically a visual novel. I bought this on sale and think that is a better price than what it is usually listed for, though. If you appreciate a little mystery, check it out! I had fun. :]

I guess this is my first so called "Mixed" review. Pros: 1. The actress is fantastic. Absolutely banger acting. 2. The story is actually good, especially in video game standards. A lot of twists and turns. 3. The vintage retro aesthetic really acts in its favour. 4. It has an eerie tone and even unimportant side things scared me a bit sometimes (like her reflection, iykyk). Cons: 1. Absence of structure. You just find out the truth and that's it. A sense of purpose/something to actually do, to end the game is missing. You just finish the game when you complete everything and walk away. 2. The chat function is a miss. That could have been a good ending marker but they made it inaccessible by the user by themselves. 3. The ui, especially the selected clips and its arrangement lack a lot of qol. The pros slightly outweigh the cons. And also due to the fantastic story and acting and due to the fact it is an indie game after all (and because there's no mixed review option), I'll opt for positive review. 5.1/10, buy on sale (it's dirt cheap anyway, got my money's worth ngl).

A wonderful unique game. I wanted to play it for so long. I couldn't get 100% database. I had a lot of fun theory crafting and thinking about what is happening in the game. I highly recommend this game.

I usually don't recommend games, but this one is amazing, it doesn't have a proper ending, as the ending itself is YOUR interpretation of the events. I played with my friend over a weekend and we both had different outcomes, was quite nice to discuss and try to see each other's view and analysis. Also, this actress deserves an award for her act.
